Hello everyone, I'm in the process of planning my first grow. It will be in a closet cabinet and I am planning to use floros to veg and a 250w HPS to flower. I understand that the ballast should be on a GFCI circuit however I am not at all familiar with wiring. I have seen GFCI power strips and I am wonder if they provide the same function as the circuit or they are specifically for plugging into these circuits. Thanks for any info

a GFCI breaker, GFCI outlet, or GFCI power strips all do the same thing.
make sure to keep all electrical cords, plugs and equipment off the floor.

make sure it is a GFCI strip and not just a surge protector.
it should say on it and have a test and reset button.
