Getting back on my feet and what to do about parking

So the last couple of months have been crazy. I was in a different state going to school and doing my "extra curricular" activities as well. Just like everyone I'm barely making ends meet at the moment, so I was kinda forced to come back home to my parents place to save up some cash. My ego took a hit and obviously it made it difficult to continue some certain hobbies. I'm back in school just trying to get my degree and looking for work. The only possible way I can do anything is to go outside and keep everything separate. I'm not going to put my family in any awkward situations, but I still wanna continue what I love to do.

Luckily I have some good friends still here whom I get rides from and stuff. Now when you guys go to do your activities, what do you do about parking? It would look sketchy parking out in the middle of nowhere if someone drove by. What would you think of having a driver, I know its dangerous to have a "partner" but this may be necessary. Also, I feel that I could trust someone that I'm getting a ride from, since it is using their car and we have equal risk. Importantly I could have some safety knowing they don't know any exact locations, only general. Basically I'm just trying to get through the recession like everyone else. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks y'all

Im in thame situation as you. I am also having a driver, who just drops me off and i go, make sure they dont see the trail you use just the general area. so its still a guerilla grow

dont tell them how many plants you really have, for example 10 plants someone really wont try to ripp that, but 50 plants they will for sure go out there and look.

hey. been through this many times. having to leave the car and possibly carrying stuff with you into an obviously swampy or overgrown area. i always went out in the wee hours of the morning, drove past site once to get a good look around, then went back.(perhaps a rag in your window like your car is broke down would be a good idea?) never would plant too close to housing though, just too risky. 3 years ago,(last time i tried since), someone from a DISTANT housing area must of seen me go back into my swamp. next day on way to work, noticed guys in the field cutting EVERYTHING down. i kind of found it funny that i possibly caused someone to cut down a whole field of overgrowth just because of 4- 8 inch high plants. just remember, people will go to no end to destroy or steal your grow. it's funny how people who don't know anything about mj at all will probably assume your growing mj if they se you going into certian areas. really, you could be going there for many reasons. researching a botany project for school, looking for antique bottle caps or jars, researching willife, anything. but, 1st thing they assume is,"he must be growing devil weed", ahhhhhhhh!!!!!! crazy shit. oh well, think i ended up venting here, sorry, peace

Growing in different areas , or just one, causes the same dam problem. Where to put/park the dam vehicle. Walking, carrying water, soil, in the dark for miles is not for me. One Guy uses a cammo netting to cover while 'close to the spot. I've had to run, start the truck, and move it in the tree cover because I heard choppers. Anybody can find 1,000's of places to grow, but main prob. is coming & going without local law pulling up. If you have a person drop you off, come back later may be cool, if you want somebody to know your business. For me, the main prob is the truck, tracks to the grow. I've got mine figured out, but solve this prob first, or your fucked.

Wow... Everyone posted some incredible information.

I have been thinking about doing a stealth mini grow on my property but would like to get into something more on the ape side. We have this park down here and it has a maybe 30 foot drop that nobody walks down and I was thinking of planting one or two there. I have a bunch of bagseed, could be fun.

For you growers that are actually putting fat ak47/ww/etc high-end types, I am AMAZED.

Wheels are spinning... :dunce:

hwo often does one have to water plants in the outdoors?? i would move as much stuff as i could first time and then go there by bicycle or if its too far away put ur mountain bike in the car and then wander with your bike in the wilderness!! u can always say im just taking a ride and people with bicycles at least where i come from dont raise suspicions for its a normal thing to do!! and u can always get away with it much better than any other vehicle!! im planning to do a outdoor grow too!! i have my personal indoors but want to get over the damn recession easier!! plus im loosing a fortune in stockmarket!!! so have to go outdoors and im thinking AF GWS wich stays really short and is very easy and fast to grow!! put 3 of them bastards to do a seed run and then go crazy and plant like 100 AF gws all around the mountain in places where no one can even walk!!!! but i have my boy which i know i can trust with things like this and will help with stealth and work!!

So how do you suppose they saw you? Were you wearing cammo and stuff or maybe they saw your car? I think going out in the middle of the night (3am) and having someone pick you up would be the safest, I dunno maybe I'm wrong.

Idk if you've considered this but if you live somewhat near the area your growing possibly a bike or a longboard to the area with a hiking pack, or possibly just hoofing it (think you might've said you dont want to do that) Even if you live a distance from the site consider that you don't have to park at the trail head of the site itself, if your going to be hiking a bit back to get to a safe spot you can afford to spend an extra 10 minutes walking/biking/boarding to the trail from your car. You can easily throw your transportation in the brush to return for it later.
