I can't really see a difference between an opium addiction, a heroin addiction and pain killer addiction like oxycodone or morphium apart from the time it takes to get you hooked. The main point for me is that i don't even want to know how it is to be on heroin or opium because then this knowledge is sitting there in your head. I'm not the kind of person who could just have a go and then never touch it again, especially if it would be easy to get. I used to share a house with a guy who was on and off heroin and he got his stuff delivered to the house for about $15 per 'unit'. Apparently the prices went down since Afghanistan got permanent western residents.
