General organics VS Earth Juice VS Biobizz VS Roots organic

Hey Whitey, i haven't read this whole thread, but your statements above ring true with exactly what i'm trying to do, check out my last post in the veganics sticky.

"and I think any and all of you who choose to use a bottled line of organic nutes are going to find that in order to get quality AND yield, you're going to need to amend your soil."

I'm real close to getting all dialed in and my best decision was to start amending my soil mix - variety is the spice of life!

down to earth:
vegan mix, kelp meal, alfalfa meal, neem seed meal & now i'm adding greed sand, azomite & granular humic acid

epsom salt, dolomite lime, bacteria/fungi.... i think that's it lol

Will start topdressing a week before flower to help keep things going and supplement where the bottled nutes seem to be lacking by midflower

This current grow (pics in the vegan thread) is by far my most successful endeavor into veganics & getting real close to starting a 100% vegan grow instead of a 99.5% :D

Dont sweat it bro, I personally found the best results trying to do the veganic thing but while using aged steer compost with my mix and I like the results alot more.
Vegans are pussies, we all need a little meat to be healthy, plants included...except instead of them getting meat they get horse poop, haha.
I dont use bat guanos any more tho as I think they add a bad taste to the finished product if used too early before harvest.
Subcools Supersoil isnt that great IMO, but its not bad either.
I use to use it, but then later found better results keeping it simple
Bump to Soil Secrets tho...and AHL in Albuquerque :)

  • Nutes
    Bubbled for 24hrs
    Earth juice Grow original
    Earth juice Bloom original
    Earth juice Microblast (micro nutes)
Earth juice Catalyst (the crucial link, flower enhancer haha)
    Earth juice Meta-K (potassium supplement)
    Earth juice Assist (wetting agent)
    Humboldt Honey es (organic sweetener)

Choose Earth juice because its not only one of the cheaper organic nute lines, but its also, from what ive researched, some of the best organic nutes you can get, its based from molasses and supposidly takes brix levels(sweetness and taste) off the chart!

    Tea's
    Bubbled for 24hrs
The guano company Super Tea (whole grow) worm casing, bat and seabird guano
The guano company Budswell (flowering) Worm castings, bat and seabird guano
HTG'S Stump tea (whole grow) kelp, yucca extract and mychroziae
Earth juice Hi-Brix molasses (whole grow)

    Misc (with waterings....?)

Thrive alive green (OMRI listed B vitamin supplement, elminates plant stress) derived from kelp
Gonats (all natural insecticide, made by the company that makes earth juice)
Earth juice Natural Up & Down (all natural ph adjusters's)

The plan is to Nute solution day 1, check day 2, Tea solution day 3, check day 4, Straight Water with thrive alive weekly and gonats bi weekly on day 5, check day 6 and repeat.
This is what im doing for my outdoor crop this year...... thoughts?

I'm currently running the entire GO line right now and having great results. The ladies just finished up their first week of flowering. I used the ENTIRE line through veg and now I'm in bloom the only addition is Humboldt Honey ES. I've found that the biomarine and bioweed make pretty good additions to a tea to feed your beneficials. I called GH regarding brewing ALL the nutes together and was advised that it wouldn't be a good idea to add the base (BioGrow/Bloom) and instead the other additived would be better suited for a tea. The nutes all mix fine for a straight feeding. I've had incredible results with a tea consisting of GH Ancient Forest, GH Floralicious Plus, and from time to time maybe a bit of bioweed or biomarine. The plants love the tea as a foliar as well.

I have not tried Biobizz or EJ. I preferred Roots to GO and ran it side by side with multiple strains for 2 runs in a row. They both yielded great and even. I felt the Roots buds had a more complex flavor and were a bit smoother. The GO buds were possibly more potent but I will never run GO because it does not meet my definition of organic (synth micros and chelators hence advertised as vegan even though labeled organic). Roots liquids do go fast tho, just buy big jugs if you go roots, the quality, yield and relative ease of use are worth it IMO. The dankest OG I ever pulled was on the Roots and had a HUGE yield for me!

What type of soil mix did you use for the Roots vs GO runs?

I used my 10 scoop easy to find mix:

5 scoops FF Happy Frog
2 scoops coconut coir
2 scoops chunky perlite
1 scoop EWC
mycos, bacteria whole spore innoculant

It grew some of the nicest plants I've ever done. Hope this helps.

I use the master schedule by roots organic. It has 2 of there soul bottles worked in with the regimin. Big swell and amino aid. Both are some of the greatest products on the shelf today. The npk ratios are not huge and they are very clise to reaching organic standards. Natural derived and are just extracted to create a stronger blend. As close to organic withoit actully being. I also top dress with uprising grow and bloom. Nice organic boost to replenish the soil. .

Btw quality was beyond anything I have done in the past my first round. And yield was a gram and a half per watt first round. Only has improved since then. I can't recommend them enough. The only negative is there soil has nates. Oh yeah and there big worm is top quality also. That works in with my top dressing every few weeks.

There is a product called Mineral Matrix that OMRI listed, and the trace elements in the product are derived from the same sources that GO, sodium borate, sodium molybdate etc. Look it up its all organic.
