Roots organics seems pretty expensive, how fast do you go thourgh the bottles? Or what bottle gets used the most?
i bought a gallon of trinity and you go through the trinity grow and bloom hp2 the fastest. im however doing away with the hp2 once i run out and im just gonna start doing super teas and using trinity grow and bloom to feed, along with oregonism. i would suggest this because when it comes down to it hp2 and hpk are overpriced guano teas however they are more convenient i guess. i still might hold on to the aa (humic acid) and es (kelp extract) for foliar feeding or look for a different organic foliar product.

i dont know why someone has mentioned this company called Blue Mountain Organics you can look up the reviews on here or on another fourm(just google it)
25 bones plus shipping buys you 4 quarts, grow it green, bloom fertilizer, super plant tonic, and foliar fertilizer. spt is a root enhancer and carb source. but it
beats the prices of all those companies by far heres the link to there ebay store

I have used the ROOTS ORGANICS and also a good friend of mine has too, I will say it is an excellent excellent feeding regimen, we use all parts of the regimen including the OREGONISM XL, you will have huge buds the size of the 32oz bottle of fert. I have a pic I think in my profile Ill go check rite now. But no joke the stuff is awesome but it will run about 80 or 90 bucks depending on who you get it from. GREAT RESULTS!! ROOTS ORGANICS
OK I just checked cant find the picture not sure where they all went but, really I had a plant I named her BABY she almost died and I was going to toss her but I kept her, she was ARJANS ULTRA HAZE #2 I grew her out on the ROOTS ORGANICS REGIMEN and she produced buds that were so solid for a sativa and the biggest one was the size of the ROOTS bottle I had a picture on here and Ill try to find it but that is absolutle the TRUTH and I grew it. Good Luck, Haze

I go threw the HP2, Bloom, trinity, and the ancient amber the most, but it will do about 10 of them for two months depending on your soil type.

yeah i don't know anyone who uses their products, but reviews online say its good stuff. oh yeah im also running a couple hydro bucket drip systems in coco, and i run roots(oregonism too) and some botanicare calmag. i wouldn't suggest running roots in hydro unless in some sort of bioponics system, i got one in hydrotron too and its not doing nearly as good, there both jillybeans and the one in hydrotron was planted earlier then the one in coco, the one in coco is doing way better, lsting horizontal so it branches out and the roots are starting to touch the water and its only been two weeks, the coco is in 10 inch baskets and the hydrotron is in a 6 inch basket, and the hydrotrons roots are not nearly as large.

If you guys had been paying attention to my thread you would see all that expensive stuff isn't necessary. Do it like the pros and forget all your woes!

Peace
thats a little to raw for me. i would not want to smell dog shit when im mixing up nutes. im used to the smell of organic nutes now (a bit gnarly at first) but dog poop is a smell i would never want to get used to. plus guano aint spendy and neither is worm castings. think about how much cash you put into your room and genetics then think about how much a nutrient line costs and how long those nutrients,
when put like that the cost seems pretty small even if you spend 200 on a line.

heres a good place to get cheap guano too

ive been using general organics for 4 cycles now.. great stuff.. their whole lineup i use. slightly better than biobizz since u dont need 'bioheaven' cuz its included. and their whole lineup is much cheaper than biobizz. plus i also include AN's bud candy and big bud powder and humdoldt's own snow storm ultra and gravity during certain times. plus botanicare's silica blast. general organics has better results than biobizz in my opinion. i use it with roots natural and organic soil.

Hmm....I believe the sets of organic bottled nutrients are easy to use, consistent, relatively inexpensive, and the lines usually include everything you need for good results. However, i also believe you can attain the same results by using organic teas and good soils. It just depends on which is more convenient for the user.

Having said that, i plan on using a combo of General Organics and teas with some good soil.

  1. Thats what the lady told me that they where pretty much the same..... expect GO is not ORMI

You have to jump through alot of hoops and pay alot of money to get the OMRI cert. For me if GO says the product is organic then that's good enough for me. I would trust them over some government. Agency

Here's my 2 cents... lots of this is from personal experience but lots of it is also reading long time growers like 3lb...

First off, the most abundant and cheapest product on the earth is animal poop, which also happens to be a very good fertilizer for plants. When we are talking about organics and MJ growing, generally you are talking about these poop based fertilizers (which should in turn be cheap right?) Basically, most of these companies are bottling poop, and selling it to you at a highly marked up price. Sorta sick when you think about it. Don't even get me started on fermented plant extracts, they are even easier and more sustainable to harvest, yet more expensive.

That being said, EJ is the cheapest on the market, and by most accounts the best for taste. Another poster mentioned Liquid Karma, which is a great product as well (But highly expensive) You can make your own if you put your brain to it.

A more expensive line isn't going to be the magic elixir, don't read too much into it and save your self a few bucks.

A good majority of people here would agree with you but 98% of those people arent going to go through the hassle of mixing up their own nutes, you know it and I know it, and as much as I hate these "is product A better than B, C, and D" threads it breeds discussion and leads people in new directions. I personally hate the idea of using guanos' etc... and have been trying to go down the vegan road but its not working out to a 100% vegan med but its vegan/organic and thats close enough.

I use the general organics line in fox farms soil with amendments, and I think any and all of you who choose to use a bottled line of organic nutes are going to find that in order to get quality AND yield, you're going to need to amend your soil. I use kelp meal, cotton seed meal, alfalfa meal, soft rock phosphate, lime, EWC, ancient forest humus, myco product, as well as a few other things I need to add to the mix like green sand and Epsom salt, and I'm still not yielding like the big boys yet and its gonna take some perfecting to get there. I also use compost teas as well, which in my opinion are necessary for this type of growing. A quick example, my last grow I grew 2 of the same cut of "the void" by TGA/subcool, 1 in a 3 gallon smart pot and the other in a 5 gallon. The bigger one got fed more bottled nutes, the smaller one was fed the same thing basically but ended up getting like 2 or 3 more applications compost teas in bloom than the larger one did. The main difference in the 2 was coloring, they were right next to each other so there wasnt a difference in environment. The smaller one was WAY more purple than the other and as far as yield I'd say if the smaller one was a little closer in size it would have out-yielded the bigger one as well but the coloring difference was amazing and definitely obvious, the only difference being those couple of compost teas, it wasnt something intentional but the way the waterings fell.

As I said, I'm trying to go all vegan but even with all that stuff I still use the bio-marine, grow/bloom, bio-bud, cal/mg, dyna grow protekt @ 1ml per gal and hygrozyme. I've cut out the diamond black, bio root, and bio weed for the time being as I'm trying to cut out the bottles one at a time but for now I cant. I can get them to a point but then my girls end up with small deficiencies here and there which are easy fixes most of the time with the bio-marine, which I am just going to make a part of my grow now, I was trying to go vegan but I'll say my style of growing is "vegan inspired", LOL......

If I wanted to add a higher N guano to the mix I could probably cut the bio-grow from the mix and use just the bio marine for veg but I'm not sure if I'm going to get that far into it because supersoil is calling my name big time. "Just add water" is getting more and more appealing to me.
