Pineapple express is still impressing me even tho iv had it in rotation for over two years now. Luckily this was the last out of a pack of 5 fems talk about saving the best for last, big ups to G13 labs for this beauty. And to add more iceing to the cake it fineshes within 45 days talk about a keeper.

Thanks man yeah i got that pack back in 2010 and its been in rotation ever since. Its a really good pheno strong no hermie traits and is still to this day some of the srongest medicine i have. It makes really potent edibles i was really impressed considering the genetics are nothing too special.

my last harvest i had one PE from a 3 pack i got along with that tin. towards the very end of flower mine did like yours, just not quite as much purple. did yours do it earlier than what im saying?

Im glad you brought that up i forgot to mention that from seed it looked completly normal. It took me 3 months of cloning to get that purp/burgandy color out of it. And then around the 2nd week of flush that color appears within days no special temps either it start to transfer to the calyx's anytime after 2weeks of flushing. I forgot to mention that its in hydro also.

yeah honestly i think a touch of stress brings out the purple in the g13 labs PE. just a touch at the end i mean, not a big buncha stressin 
Yeah youv got that right iv snapped a whole branch on this plant and just tied it back into position. Never even lost its perk gotta love the P.E. and to think back when this strain first was let out on to the market it was discredited. Almost everywhere saying it was just a name,after the movie and it was junk. I crossed this strain with chocolope and a few others and it transfered all of the best qualities especially the fast flowering time. Out of the 5 pack i got all were finished flowering under 50 days and i was blessed with the big bud pheno sadly the clones i took died, i still have fantasies about the 20g nugs i had here is a few picks of the big bud pheno under 2 400w in my closet 2 years ago it was my first run at hydro. After i seen what scottyballs did with 1 400,1 P.E. and 1 waterfarm i had to see if that was even possible, seemed too good to be true. Never looked back still grow organic soil but something about those waterfarms is addicting i went out and bought 9 waterfarms and started trying everything from OG18,buddha tahoe og,chernobyl,qrazy train,and a too many others to name all took off like crazzzzy. I def want to thank scottyballs for opening up my mind a couple of years ago the pics below were even fed the same thing he mentions flora nova bloom from seed to finish, not one thing else, no other additives. I started so many people on this style of growing from old heads over 50 to newbies in there early 20s and im a 23yr high school dropout no wonder the government has spent billions on the drug war. Glad it didnt work haha wish i lived in a medical state or washington,colorado

MI is blowin up on the weed scene, we jsut have a crap gov. nice dude... i wish i could breed my last pheno, i had mites and had to start over this time. just picked up some purps and grape ape from the D today speakin of purple 
i have a nice papaya male im gonna try breeding with. how hard was it to keep from seeding out yur bud? ive never done a on purpose pollenation.

That's a nice pheno of PE you have there. Mine only had the very slightest hints of purple but was a much better yeilder from the looks of it.
BTW the genetics of this strain or unknown so I don't know how people are commenting on the genetics and the sativa parentage.

Thanks man, alot of places are saying its a trainwreck crossed with a maui wowie even though g13 labs doesnt say. Iv got some qrazy train and certain trainwreck dom phenos look and grow similare. Out of the 5 pack, i had idica dom and sativa dom especially the purple pheno that will stretch 3ft in the 1st 2 weeks of flowering. I know about seedfinder. "probably" trainwreck x maui wowie doesn't cut it for me, who gave that information? I don't even think Maui Wowie is a real strain but if it was, it would probably be a sativa. The real trainwreck is supposed to be a very long flowering strain too so I don't think that's what it is. I have seen a lot of grows of PE and they seem to be fairly stable. Fat buds, great structure and a fruity, rotten smell. I have never seen any like yours though.

nah PE is a mix of C99 pineapple x a trainwreck hybrid prolly. its what i read the most. ive also heard of hawaiian x trainwreck. and ive heard of pineapple kush x trainwreck. at least thats what ive always known. no big deal. genes get copied, diluted, and mixed up all the time. specially the hype names.

seedfinder is a very cool thing, but its like wikipedia. it can be incorrect. its based off of voluntered data from unverified resources. some are spot on and nice to read, other blatant lies. i like seedfinder tho. think about it tho. trainwreck maybe donotes the "express" part of the name. plus c99 and trainwreck are super fast sativas.
Thanks man dont even get me started on the gov shit can go all day on those motherfuckers. As far as the pollination ?, its real simple flower the male out to where you get some nice pollen production. I cut the open pollen sacks into a tray seperate the pollen from the husk, and dab a Q tip into the pollen. Now make sure all fans are off in your flower room and take the Q tip and positition it an inch over the desired bud and lightly rip the Q tip over the bud and the pollen will shower over just that bud, do it in week 3 of flower so there is a little prebud to work with. A week later the buds you selectivly pollenated the hairs will die thats ok that means the pollen did its job just sit back and wait. And thats it 4 weeks later you will have perfect seeds once harvested the seeds have to sit and cure for at lest 2 months before you can use them thats really important wait at least 2 months they need to dry out. Becuase when you go to germ them and they will just rot inside the seed shell there is no rushing this process. I just crossed my pineapple express chocolope with my purp pheno Buddha Tahoe OG, 6g of bud gave me over 100 seeds fuck yeah, here is a few pics. Exactly it says probably in highlighted letters its not stateing a fact but what most people speculate, and for the most part they are on point. I agree though i dont believe what they are saying for P.E. either Maue wowie is def a real strain though its been around longer than shit clone only strain though. I bought a 5 pack of P.E. fems back in july of 2010 and this is what i got every pheno i had was different in growth and structure. That is why im posting this shit it looks way different than any pheno of pineapple express that iv grown or seen on here and iv harvested this pheno at the end of week 5 and it was still better than my sour creams or rocklocks at week 8. And cant say for sure but seems better than my chernobyl and qrazy train phenos that i just got. My buddha tahoe og is the only one that can compare. This pheno of P.E. was so stable i let all my friend have my other strains and worked with her for 9 months nothing else was in my room not worth the space could do 2 full harvest in a 12week period of time and could not build up a tollerance to this shit its almost too strong. I let it go to the 8th week and under the scope it was more than 75% amber which for me is junk i need large amounts of THC not CBD and CBN. Here is a few more of my P.E. pics.

Iv heard pretty much all that too but thats just it heard, not confirmed so I couldnt have said it better myself. Plus every seed is different iv grown hundred of my own seed and its very rare to get the exact same plant even when trying.
I def also heard alot about the pinapple c99 from alot of places beautiful genetics, me and my friends speculate about the same thing it makes perfect sense that name almost says it all. I think your right and if i had to i would lean toward the c99 genetics and that would describe alot on why its so fucking good. My big bud pheno was even potent every one was just simply amazing a big thanks to G13 labs.
