Well this mix will be use within a week of fermentation so should be fine.
I added on some guys recommendation a teaspoon of basalt rock dust to the ferment now I am not sure that this will accomplish anything but considering that basalt rock dust is not expensive at all I thought I would wing it anyhow.
i cant find any of that locally for some reason... and i live in a pretty agricultural based town

ppwer went out for 36 hours. the flowerin plants got moved to a window to see about eight hours of light.

im trying not to to freek out this vegging plant so i had wake up a four the past two mornings and place a flashlight under it pointing into the canopy until the sun cam up. same thing from ten to eleven to extend the day. im doing 12-1 type veg lighting to cut on powet costs so it's pretty used a gap in light during the day.

i tossed 160 grams of steamed bone meal in 160 grams of vinegar. added two teaspoons of EM and molasses. ill use it on the vegging plant to see if it speeds up the root growth much. seeds should be here this week. 2 querkles (for pollen hopefully), 1 amherst sour d, 1 (707) headband, and one sapphire OG. plus some auto freebie that ill pop

notice the chips isle lol

OMG you're in the area where that hurricane came through right :O
Hope that power outage and a raided chips isle (oh yes! #1 disaster food indeed lmao) was the worst you had to deal with!

Normally I wouldn't worry much about an outage like that. I've had some light glitches myself, and I would just leave them 24/0 afterwards for a day or so to make sure they didn't get any ideas - but it was with plants that were vegging 18/6. Could be a bit trickier with your 12/1 vegged ones, since they will switch to flower so much quicker. Fingers crossed the ride it out well!

Haha love the title of that album "Hippie killer" lmao
Thanks for sharing!

turns out i dont have windows that open... crazy right?.. so i ended up leaving my front and side door open to allow the place to breath. kinda funny. i got lit all day sitting around without electricity and some near fully ripened buds just breezing in crazy winds that passed in one door and out the other. pretty sure i lost some homework in the after storm winds lol

LMAO if anyone saw that you're going down as the craziest guy in the hood, the one who let the hurricane blast THROUGH his place haha!

You lost homework? Taking a course or are you the teacher? :-P

Panaeolus Cyanescens is some nice exotic stuff :P Only ever experimented with their cousin Cubensis but have heard some good stories.
I have spent more than my fair share of time on shroomery reading those guys teks.

I always start with a liquid culture made from honey : ) and do not forget that Lem-Tek is your friend!

On the plus a large pile of shiitake mushrooms can't hurt and your pasta will thank you.

hmm i wonder if it's co2 from microbes or co2 from a chemical reaction with the vinegar???? is it even co2? to find out i have placed a large glass jar over the lid and will wait for an hour to let the emitting gases collect. ill place the jar over a flame to see of it explodes or smothers the flame :bigjoint:gimmi an hour20161010_135032.jpg

I use those very small mason jars to make LC.

Its been a while so bare with me.
-Take about a teaspoon of honey and mix it in with some water in the mason jar.
- Pressure-cook the jar for a few mins. I would need to look up on shroomery for the guide for specifics.
- Inoculate the jars with spores and wait a week or so for the mycilium to spawn and start to colonise the jar.
- Fill up some syringes with the LC and now you have infinite shroom inoculations. Bonus the jars or grain spawn colonises much faster reducing the threat of contams.
