Proof of concept prototype along the journey:
Once built a aeroflow knockoff using 6" pvc pipe and Ts along with some couplers and hardware. No sprayers were used in the spraylines only 1/8 holes spaced about 12" apart.
The idea was to keep the nute level to a near constant level in the tubes---this was acheived by setting a 44 gallon industrial garbage can on concrete blocks with a controler on the floor.
Circulation was 24/7 with a 1/2 hp leader pump-----a "bleed line" was ran back to the tank in the veg room to keep the nutes equalized.
I drilled holes in the 6" tubes for the plant cups to sit in-----used sculpted floral foam to form collars around the stems-----no medium.
Plants were surported using 3/4" pvc attached to the tubes.
There were many improvements to be made in future shows that I will get into later.
