very impressive grow technique. i just stayed up half the night researching CMH bulbs and the use of the Eco-Bulb CFL, but i have a question about the timing on the CFL during flower. i was reading how it could mimic the "sunrise" and "sunset", so do you time yours to only come on at certain intervals or does it follow with your regular flowering timing schedule? i tried reading up but after hours and hours of searching i cannot find it within this thread... too stoned perhaps.

Do you mean the reptile Cfl UV-B? I found even the 2.0 one is too much at 12" so I gave up on it. The UV-B is highest around noon, so I thought about trying that. I was trying to boost the far-red at "sunrise" and "sunset", but that bulb was too intense also.
I'm thinking just the added UV-B from the CMH is enough. I'm only running the CMH and HPS in here. Glad you had fun reading this one.

The Cannabis rotation continues. I moved SS #3-A downstairs. I made it rain with 2 gallons, then finished with 1/2 tsp. Jacks/quart. I noticed the fan leaves on top were curling, so this leeching should help. She should be done stretching now. I'll give her some NL pollen soon. Here's the tent with all 4.

Tomorrow the Tangerine Dream go in here.

Here we go.
I moved the Tangerine Dream into the FrigiDare to start flowering for a couple weeks. Maybe less, if something is done in the tent. They went into dark at 8 pm tonight.
They got 1/4 tsp. Jack's /6 cups, so a bit stronger than last time.
I got a top pic so you can see how the metal bars spread it. The cotyledon branch is stretching out to join the others.

Them some big girls. They shouldnt hit the light now, but you may want to super crop a branch or 2 just to be safe :D

So my Sativa pheno #1 isn't doing good. I see a curling that hasn't gotten any better. As we know when soil dries, concentrations of minerals/fertilizer goes up. It didn't use enough so I leeched her with 2 gal. of pH'd water. I hope that helps. Normally, my technique is to add it's feeding after it's 'Rain'. I didn't, so when it looks droopy next I'll feed it.

My Indica pheno #2 is doing OK, but when she needs watered she gets 1/4 tsp. of Epsom tea/quart. I think it needs a bit of Cal./Mag.

I dropped the shelf and put #2 up a bit. Maybe #1 was also getting too much light too.

I'm sure they'll bounce right back... I've found in my short and happy time as a "make it rain" grower (thanks to you and Riddle) that a little flush and a little drought can do wonders! I know your girls will be top shelf, they're grown in a freezer!!

FREEZER POSSE REPRESENT!!!

The TD #1 sativa pheno still looks like crap. That leeching did no help. I gave it some water today. I have no clue what it's pissed about. Seems like a deficiency, and I'm pretty sure not N.

So you think an Epsom Tea like you told me earlier is what they need? 1 tbs /gallon, then use @ 1 tsp. to 1/2 tsp./gallon.
They look a little better today, after the plain watering.

yeah the epsom tea would work, could be a lockout if plain water helped?

I don't see how it could be a lock out, since I've fed her less than any Cannabis I've ever grown. The strongest dose she got up to was 1/2 tsp. Jacks/gallon. She got a Morbloom 0-10-10, @ 1/2 tsp./gallon. But overall she got weak doses less than usual. Now that I wrote that, some combination may have done a lock out.
Another idea would be to use the Bloom Booster from Jacks. It does have Mag. So a low dose would be 1/4 tsp./gallon right? But no Cal.
I'll take pics soon to show if they look better. The good part of growing is most times you can think it over and ask, vs. in a hurry and pushing too hard.

I'm moving TD #1 from the FrigiDare to the tent later. Thinking I'll give her 1/2 tsp. Epsom tea /2 quarts. I thought of adding F.E. like 1/4 tsp. since she is more pale than I like to see. Any opinions? Maybe just that Cal/Mag from the Epsom is good enough for now.

Diesel Cross up next for this chamber.

Through in a few drops of the N. I read a lot where mag, cal, and N are really dependent on each other so it will probably allow faster absorbtion with your low dose, or maybe lower. I know its hard to measure that thick shit, no way to really use a dropper, LOL
