Thanks Bamboo!
Both strains are supposed to flower for 64 days, so that is Dec 20, 16 more days-ish.
I have to get a loupe for trichome inspection.

Guys,
Should I flush the last week or what.... yet another controversial subject.... ????
Flush..

I can't see if the trichomes are clear or cloudy, but I definitely don't detect any amber color yet.

Hey guys,
WHERE can I purchase a jewelers loupe?
I need a closer look at these.
My phone has a magnifier widget, but it's not quite good enough.
I really want to keep an eye on the trichs so I don't over ripen and lose any of that 21% THC these are packing !

Whatever you do, don't buy the ecoplus magnifier. But you do need to get something better than that app. Looks like a few amber in the third pic.

Looking nice fishdeth.

If you have a traditional digital camera with like a 12+ MP sensor, then you can take macro pics and zoom in on your PC screen to check the trichs, while you wait for your loupe or pocket microscope.

SMARPHONE FOCUS.png

I have build something similar to this before for my phone, set it on auto focus laying on top glass, adjust the wing nuts for perfect focus and move bud around and snap some shots, also see like 5-10% amber on the 3rd pic.

I DO have one !
It has a great german made lense and takes FANTASTIC pictures... just don't know where it is right now.
Don't use it much with the smartphone in my pocket.
Especially, my S5 has a great camera.
I will find it and give that a try as well.

I guess nobody noticed that I removed the scrog screen a couple days ago.
First I cut all the cares of the screen then pulled them all out of the canopy.
Then I took apart the PVC pipe by twisting and dismantling. (good thing I didn't glue it)
The larger colas are really reaching for the light.
The smaller buds are pretty much what they are gonna be but I wanted the larger ones to really soak up some more light this last week/ week & a half.
Now I have the PVC frame back together and just i set of drying lines installed.
I will add a couple screws to hold the frame up higher to hang the chopped branches on.
I should fill it up pretty good, even after an initial trim of fan leaves and larger sugar leaves.20141209_182236_resized.jpg20141209_062359_resized.jpg

Great! =)

It's so bushy in there we didn't even miss the screen! hahaha

If that's not a sign of a job well done, I don't know what is!

Looking good Fish! How much longer, 2 wks?
Thanks man,!
I should receive my USB microscope/camera in a day or two and then I can have a GOOD look at the triches and tell more.
My S-5 takes pretty good pics and when I put them on the puter, I can def see that there are not many amber ones yet, I just can''t differentiate between the clear & cloudy ones.
Not too many seem to be drooping over like a candy cane tho.
Long story short: a week and a half to possibly 2 more weeks.
Specs on the strain say 64 days of flower period, that will be on the 20th.
We'll see !

May have missed it but what's the typical temps inside the fridge with lights on ?

BTW nice looking plants !
I have had a few WARM days where the temps were 82 to 88 was my max, in early October.
It really depends
When real warm, I run the fan on HI.
Past month or so, on LOW.
Pretty chilly overnight so I cut the fan about 15 mins before lites out and the fridge holds the heat fairly well overnight, just make sure I don't oversleep and not turn the fan back on.
In about 20-25 mins without it, it is QUITE warm in there in the morning.
If the day is real cool, I will remove the cool tube to keep a little more heat in with fan on low.
So I am able to regulate my temps pretty well with this system.

Thanks for stoppin by !
