A little info on my grow:
2 AK-47, (one of these is having a spot problem)
And 2 Amnesia Haze.
Day 34 of 64 flower
400W HPS 12/12
250 CFM exhaust/ventilation
Internal breeze fan
Ghetto CO2 production
GH Trio Base nutes
Humbolt's Golden Tree -Supplement
Cal-Mag
Aqua Shield
Tap water allowed to breathe before use

I was here a week or so with some spotting on my leaves.
Added the cal-mag.

NOW I seem to have a nute lock out.
Water usage is slower with the cooler temps (probably less evaporation), but my PPM's are climbing pretty good every day.

Need some help here fellas, don't want this all petering out on the home stretch.

Thanks in advance for your help !

Yup. I'm going to borrow that nice DIY C02 idea. Nice one.

I was just watching a YouTube channel yesterday. .where this guy (goes by green ninja) uses bags that produces C02 from growing shrooms inside and releasing it via one way valve. Made in Oregon, sold at shops.

Don't feel like looking it up right now... LOL I have to open my YouTube app , damn smartphones

I mix:
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
6 cups warm (NOT HOT) water
mix well
Add:
1.5 teaspoons yeast
.5 teaspoon Baking Soda
Mix well !
That's it, supposed to last about 2 weeks, I change it out after a week to 10 days.

Takes about an hour to really start producing lots of bubbles.

stumbled on this earlier..... I've been running a gutted mini fridge for about a year and am switching to LED inside it.... Three Vero 29 (COB chips that are about $30 a piece) can out perform a 400 watt HPS in yeild, use about half the power, and can run at about 50F-60F cooler than an HPS.... Check 'em out! I am a DIY type of person, and think that this will be one of the easiest things you will ever build!
If you decide LED is not for you check out this :

its called a "Pyrex Bake A Round".... This sir is the best DIY cool tube I have ever seen.... plus on top of everything, Pyrex is made to withstand HIGH temperatures for long periods, and its an even shape/thickness/quality all the way around.... I'm sure you could find one on ebay, they're not in stores (from the '60s and 70's) Good luck and happy growing!

Well, I took all the nutes out of the res and filled with water PH'd at 5.5 and flushed the plants and the entire system.
I am currently on the second flush today.
Here is a pic of what I flushed out on the first flush. I will let you all see what comes out of the second flush.
Then this evening, I will refill the res with PH'd water and 1/2 strength nutes and see how they like that.

Almost crapped myself today....The temps are a little warm around here and I thought I would put the cool tube back on.
There is a support wire hanging from the reflector (grounded) that loops under the glass tube for support.
That wire hit the base of the bulb and blew the ballast.
SHIT.....
Looked on C_ List and found one for 50 bucks and had to wait for my son to go with me so I took the old one off the fridge back and when I looked closer, I found a fuse holder door by the plug... WITH A SPARE FUSE !!!
Nevermind CL dude!
Back in business.
It was a couple hours of cloudy weather for the girls.... low light with whatever I had.

Oh yea, the second flush was a little lighter, about half lighter.
After I dumped that, I mixed up a fresh batch at 1/2 of what I was putting in.
Since flushing it pretty good, I added back the proper amount of Cal-Mag, AquaShield
and Golden Tree.

Yea, thanks.
I may still buy that tall 6" diameter clear glass vase and cut the end off like I have seen done online.
Just not sure if it will be worth the effort ??
Methinks you need to use tempered glass, but maybe not since the tube should stay cool so long as the fan is on.
