Then why is the mmar or BM grower excluded? They have been waiting a long while looking forward to the day that they can participate in legal business. These cops weren't "following the will of society" - where the fuck did you come up with that? Close to 70% of Canadians polled in favour of legalization and we have the highest percentage of users in the world. We are the 'will of society'. They are following the orders of the people who control the money. You might be happy buying your bunk from the cop that busted your buddy last week, but the non ass-kissing public isn't.
Obviously both the black market and some MMAR growers were operating outside of the legal system. No government is going to knowingly let the fox into the hen-house. Legalization implies following laws. Those who chose to to make money illegally will not be a part of the legal cannabis industry.

Well, clearly your opinion isn't worth shit. The government apparently has zero issues with bm or mmar growers being part of the legal cannabis industry. Why do you? You should really put some effort into ensuring what you post has at least a hint of truth or fact involved. Making a matter-of-fact statement as if you were some authority and then being 100% wrong makes you look like an ignorant loser. Just sayin'

Canada legalization chief: Let black-market MJ growers join

The chair of the Canadian government’s marijuana legalization task force believes black-market growers should be allowed to participate in the country’s new recreational cannabis industry.

Such a move could affect business opportunities. The federal government’s proposal stipulated that newer, smaller cultivators would be given an opportunity to participate in the nation’s new rec industry, although existing licensed medical marijuana producers would get first dibs on the new licenses.

Black market still thinks its product is good. False assumption of course unless you like sand, glass and asbestos in your stuff.
