Once your Thricromes start turning amber you can switch to a very week solution and then the day before do a pure flush. That would keep you safe.

The hard part is getting to know your strain. If you knew the exact timing you could flush for a few days very safely.

Most people saying flush for two weeks are not doing DWC, but dirt. With that you have to work your nuets back out of the dirt. In DWC, second one you flush your plants you start pulling nuets and the plant starts buring up the stored.

Second one? The first second. Is that the confussing part, or jsut me in general? <g>

IF you are in Deep Water C? (bubblers) you begin flushing your plant instanly. In dirt you have to get the neuts out of the dirt firts. Then you will start flushing the plant.

Just saying that in mydroponics you should be able to flush less time then in dirt. So, once you know when you plants get ready for harvest you can flush the shortest possible time. If you start to flush to early you could reduce your quantity/quality.

How long would you say you should flush for. My plants are one their first day of the 6th week right now. And they are in rockwool cubes n an ebb n flow. I don't know when to start flushin. All I know is a good window for flowering is 8 -12 weeks depending on the. Strain. So at the least I'm 2 weeks away?

Do you know what type of plant it is? indica or sativa? most strains will produce more of one and less of the other depending on the strain and what it was crossed with. How tall is the plant? Have any pics?

For DWC i'd give it a week of flushing. For the first 3-5 days change out your water each day (dont forget to Ph it). The water change is obviously just pH'd water and no nutes. Check the ppms (those first few days) each day as they will go up. Rinse and repeat until ppm's dont rise anymore (usually 3-5 days). Then do 3 days of clearex. It should be 6-8 days total of flushing in DWC.

Think it depends on the nutes. If your doing organics it dont even need flushig in my view. If you doing the evil man made stuff like Algore don't like everybody says two weeks.
