  • Nice to see you are up here too along with thealteredstates street. Saw your post about the ak-48, I know nothing about the ak-48, but do know that if your conditions are optimal and you don't break the trichomes on even the stankiest greasiest indicas you can have a smell free grow are and house. In fact the carbon filter stinks up the house more than the buds. Now drying those little gems is a completely different story.
Are you pre-soaking your cues in phes water? Keep them dark and like 78-82 degrees. Once they sprout, gental light for the first vewdays. Then very week nutes after a few more and then just slowly work your nutes up, and get the light as close as you can with no heat stress.
Whats hood SR! im have n a hard time getting my germs to take to rockwool <Have any pointers????
I'm playin' with ebb and flow right now. Have one little one is a side DWC for play and still not sure if I like the set up. Have to run thru the full cycle first and see the results.

I got my beans from Narvana and am hoping for the best. I tried dirt years ago and had very little luck. So far hydro seems the way to go. I love how compact and bushy they grow like this. I have a question. What do you do to check PH? Was using a digital meter and I dropped it in my res. Now I am using chemicals. No were nearly as accurate.
na man, dont worry bout that, if there is anything i can help w/ dont hesitate to shoot. im sure ill be asking your opinions here and there as the grow goes on. im new too, (to hydro) but iv'e been spending so much time at our local hydroponic store talking with the guy spicificly about "medicinal plants and herbs"... he's totally cool about it and i wouldnt doubt it if he has a whole room full of bud growing. but between going there, and all the reading of ligit hydrfarming magazines, (and paying very little attention to what a lot of people here say) i have been soaking up all this knowledge as much as possible. my roots just hit the water today!!!
hey man, just wanna thank you for your info about chlorine content in tap water. i called the city DPW and they told me flurine will never be used in a state as health consious as california. im guessing that means flurine is bad? anyways, our water is a mix of chlorine and amonia that evaps in 24 hrs. i have 5 gallon buckets being airated by a 3 dollar air pump outside. im pretty sure that will do the trick =) when it comes to my plants i guess im what you can call a chlorophobe..lol.. chlorine is put in for one purpose, to kill and prevent any living organisms from developing or living in the water. now, my problem is, how many BENIFICIAL organisms and bacterias its killing in my rez, ya dig? thanks for the info man
