Flushing Ferts before Flowering?

I've read a bunch about this. But I've been using Fox Farm big bloom and grow big. I'm switching to flowering today. According to the fox farm schedule it says to carry these through until the end. So I'm not if when people talk about flushing before flowering on their plants, maybe they're using something different?

NO! Why? Have you over fertilized?
In actuality, for the VAST majority of ferts out there. You should not start the so called "bloom" nutes for 2 weeks after you change the lighting times. Even then, I tell folks to mix the Veg and Bloom 50/50 for that week and then go full on bloom strength!

Far better results that way...

I've just been following the fox farm schedule I got with the ferts. Except not full strength. Everything is really happy. Maybe I'm just over thinking it and will just keep following their schedule
