Flushing and Prolonging Veg State

Have pythium and told to flush 2 hrs w/3% peroxide. Didn't have time. Got Clearex to also flush 2 hrs as salt buildup may have helped pythium fungus to develop. Don't want to over stress and thinking (as newbie) 2 flushes in row is too much. Which first or together or what?

Also got Super Oxy H2O2 to run as regular additive in fresh nutes tank. Using GH FloraGro 3 tsp-gal/Micro 2 tsp-gal/Bloom 1 tsp-gal for GH's "Aggressive Growth" as plants to Caddy grow box 6-1-7 but tallest only 6" and shortest only 3" still.

Now, the kicker. Thought White Widow could be finished in 8 wks, but leaving for Burning Man Aug 25 through Sept 5. Told I don't have time to flower and cure, so how do I keep WW in veg state for so long? 24/7 MH now. Also, if veg state prolonged, can I go to 18/6 to save $?

Thanks for ANY help from you Ganja Gods on down to us newbies!!

Didn't mean to put you on the spot. Couldn't tell WHY you left, maybe I had asked a bad question.

Actually figured it out myself....I think. We'll see what the plants have to say, LOL.

Did the Clearex flush 2 hrs to get rid of the salts (leaching) and saw the leaves turning green again before my very eyes. I was using GH Aggressive Growth nutes which is on the heavy veg side so shouldn't have looked like nitrogen deficiency, but guess the nutes were locked up. Then added the Super Oxy H2O2 and let it flush for 20 min before adding back a lower nute concentration (have to go back to slow veg as going to Burning Man in 5-6 wks and not enough time to flower/cure before, damn.) Will do the total peroxide 3% flush for 2 hrs if that doesn't make them happy and keep the pythium in check.

Thanks for coming back and hoping you don't run into all the problems I've experienced on my first grow. Maybe this will help someone else in the future too.

Yellow leafs is simply too much water or whatever (i.e fertz.) if you add nitrogen to yellow=ish plants (lawn grass as well) it will turn green quick. The big question this - iwhat your doing a band aid or a lesson learned? If you gettem green but keep over watering your plants will suffer. Or if you get them green and can keep them green by cautious and proper care - that's a good thing...

One time I had a grow house. My pardner had been locked up & I only went to check on things on the weekend. The plants didn't grow, didn't flower, didn't die...they were in a state of suspended animation. We finally discovered the new "high tech" timer was coming on at 6 am, going off for an hour at 1 am, then on at 2pm until 9pm for a total of 14 hours. At this point I was trying to flower, but they just stalled.....
You could go on vacation, set your lights @ 14 hrs & everything will be the same as they were when you left.

potroast

Uses the Rollitup profile
Well, depending on strain they may be induced to flower at 14 hours of light (10 hours of darkness actually)

If you really want to veg them that long, you can slow the growth by giving them light on a Stasis Growth Schedule, where they get 11 or 12 hours of light, and during the 12 dark hours the light comes on every 3 hours for 20 minutes. That will provide minimal light while keeping them in veg.

HTH

Potroast is on the ball - though 20mins IMHO isn't necessary, 5-10 is enough to keep them veg. You could even leave it on 12/12 and have them come on a few times for 5-10 mins during night phase - not something I would do but it will stop flowering, if that's what you want..GL!!
