Flowering with Cree bulbs

She's really filling out.

I went to HD today, and of course I had to walk down the light aisle. Omni-directional 18w Cree bulbs?! Feel like I've been living in a cave.

After giving her a closer look with lights turned down I decided to scope her and I can't believe it,but it's ready to chop after 49 days. I've never cut before 53 days on a critical kush.

Ya know there was a like button around here not 10 minutes ago. I think Rollie and staff are just playing stoner mind games on us =p. Thanks again Cap. Great info. Sadly I'm already thinking about replacing my CREE setup with COBs. Still I think they'll make a fine edition to the veg cab.

Lovely ladies btw.

Edit- See, now it's back!!!!!! LOL

WTF...........I know some critical x go fast, but under 50 days is insane.......If the smoke is top-notch, you may have found a keeper with that turn around, ...........how she yield????

Unless I wrote the wrong date down, but I don't think I did. I think my best yield was around 6.5 oz's with less than 60 days veg and over .9 grams per watt,it's here in the thread somewhere. As far as smoke goes,it's stronger than I usually like to smoke but it's my most popular strain in my circle. Here's another critical kush that's getting close at day 40.

RIU keeps giving me a error uploading a pic,I'll try again later.

I think the scrog you got going with ck will be better than the mainlining!
I'm a little worried about supporting her,I'll have to put at least one more layer of net because she get's so heavy. As you can see in this pic at day 40 ,when I mainline I have her inside a cage and also add bamboo to support her. I usually have to start supporting her at 4 weeks and it doesn't take long before I have to support every branch,it's a nice problem to have tho. This should be interesting.critical kush 003.JPG

Its def a nice problem to have lol, I love walking into to my room with buds flopping over, means they got some weight!!! Unless you a have strain that has really strong branches as some do...... but even those cave at some point

^^^^If you don't mind me making a recommendation, you guys should try adding oceanic silica, (red algae), to your waterings during veg or added to a tea. It's calcium and silica, gets those branches nice and strong. Works fast in a tea from what I've seen, though I think in the Captain's case it would work a lot better used earlier. Look into fellas.

I think with this one it's just genetics, very skinny branches. I have lots of minerals and silica in my home made organic soil and have even tried adding Pro Tekt but they still can't take the weight. I gave my friend a cut that he grows under HPS but his flowers aren't as large or dense. He also use a basic soil and bottled nutes and the two plants don't even look like the same cut between his and mine when their done. Gotta love organics and full spectrum LED with all the extra bells and whistles.

They look extremely healthy as they are. Nice. Those stems look very nice and yellow-green. Petioles too.

I use silicic acid and it works very well, not sure how it compares to the red algae you speak of, but I'll look into it if its more cost effective
