I have some strains that I want to make feminized seeds with using the colloidal silver method. I'm building a separate grow area and I want to flower out the tops of a few small clones that will be just big enough to get a decent amount of seeds from each. My question is, how much light should I provide these seed producing plants? Could I get away with using a CFL shade (8 bulbs, 23 watt/1600 lumens each) to flower out a few small clones for seeds rather than my HPS? Or will the seeds be under developed/not as good as they could be because of inferior lighting? I'm not worried about the buds from the plants being award winning or anything, I just want the seeds to be healthy.
