Flowering a month from seeds popped

I knew i was atleast a week behind,

So i told myself even thought week 5 started, i will tell myself week 4 started

I still have about 37-38 days left till end of January,

So even if am on week 4, 5.5 more weeks i should be at week 9ish,

So you dont think they will be ready by then?

Those are in reality about 2 weeks into flower. Regardless of flip date, they've only been actually flowering for about 2 weeks. You would generally have an additional 6 - 8 weeks. I know that you have to cut by the end of Jan but the trichs will not be matured yet. I find that by about week 5 they start to bulk up. You have a few more weeks before that starts to happen. If you had time, you would watch the trichs to know when to harvest. Trichs don't mature based on a time span from flip date but rather by plant maturity - which will be cut short.

At 5 weeks the buds are mostly formed and the remaining time they bulk up. Here's what week 5 looks like - in 3 weeks yours will be closer to this: View attachment 4062715

ALSO,

I brought 2 lights from the other tent to this tent,
And that has helped the temperature perfectly, now the temps are sitting at 80s i stead of 70s,

So now i have four 600s and one 900 in the middle,

Thats roughly 1500 actuall watts,

I have definitely seen a difference in growth since i added these lights.

Here are some close ups, so you can see what they look like now

Mind it these are the best looking ones, i have 2 ladies that are stavia dominant i think and look like they are 2 week i to flower.

So i guess all i can do is wait and see how it goes.

I did water yesterday with just great white chum. Thats it.

Stopped big budd will start over drive from next week.

End of February??? They are in week 5 of flower.
They are not in week 5 of flower. They were flipped before they were sexually mature and so they continued vegging under 12 hours of light instead of 18 until they reached maturity. These have only in reality been flowering for a couple of weeks. Flowering begins when it can actually start flowering and does.

If anything causes plants to stop growing while in flower, then that adds on to the total flowering time also

Lets say you sprouted a seed and right away flipped it to 12/12. It would continue vegging for 4 to 6 weeks or so until it reached a point where it COULD flower. In this case, at 6 weeks you might consider it done if you were counting the days from flip - but it might not have a single flower on it yet.

When the plant is mature and capable of flowering, and the branching has switched to alternating - then when you flip you'll see flowers in a week. Flipping before then only slows down the time it will take to reach that point.

I am day 32 of flower.

Well 32 days from when i switched to 12/12.

Why are the pistils turning brown?

I have checked thoroughly for any hermies, that couldve pollinated this tent like my last one.

But no signs of any hermies so why are these pistils turning brown?

Temps at low 80s

Humidity at 35-45

If there is only one or two that don’t finish, i am going to hide those some where in the woods lol

They'll be done, no problem in my opinion, except the Sativa, as that MIGHT need a few more day's to reach full potential, but what the fuck, they'll be close enough.
Nice grow

I started seeing pistils after 2 weeks into flower,

So does that mean i am only on week 3? Of flower. If soo why are the pistils are already turning brown?

They are just turning brown, not shiveling.

How do you get colas like this?

I used top notch nutes, supplements, boosters, proper watering proper ph,

Why dont not one of plants have this fat colas.??

What am i doing wrong
Nothing per say, better lights maybe, different strain maybe, I would say biggest thing would be better lighting. Also you've still got a ways to go for bulking up, patience my man, patience lol.

While I agree that it takes a bit longer to start flowering if not mature, it does not take my 12/12 grows 4-6 weeks to start, maybe a week or two longer than normal but never 4-6 weeks. What strain did you have that took 6 weeks longer than a mature one?

THC Bomb. Thing went 8 weeks until it switched to alternate phyllotaxy and started showing pre-flowers. I don't flip until this point at a minimum.

I'm saying that when you flip before it has reached this point, it will continue to veg until it does. If it takes 2 weeks to get to that point then I'm saying that you might as well get the increased growth under 18/6 for that extra week or so and flip when it's ready. I just think that it's less efficient.

I do somewhat agree but honestly I haven't found it adds that much time with what I've done. Good to know with the bomb though, was thinking of doing that or the gorilla. Unless it's a clone I typically can't wait till maturity due to height restraints and I don't practice much training. I do find starting at 12/12 from seed is somewhat of a waste re yield

So week 6 started today.

I did the last feeding with big budd last night, will start over drive starting next feeding.

So couple of the ladies few pistils are brown and shiveled up, i have looked thoroughly for a hermie but i dont see anything that couldve polinated this tent.

So why could they be turning brown?

Also week 6, and i still dont see any fatt colas forming.
Will do 2 weeks of feeding with over drive,

I usually do feed water feed water,

I plan on taking these to week 9ish,
They were flipped on 11/23,
End of jan is day 69,

So i could use big budd for another week (week6)

And use over drive for week 7+8

And flush week 9,

And see where i am at, by end of week 9 i should be at January 25 .

Looking good flowerman, i switched to 12/12 the day after you, so I'm day 34 into flower now. I think things are going good so far as this is my first grow and don't have much experience to compare it to.
Before anyone says it's a jungle and I should have done some defloliation by now, after reading all the differing opinions on that subject, I figured I should make my first grow as simple as possible until I get some more experience, so I have only removed some occasional big fan leaves that were blocking light to some bud sites so far.
So how do you all think things are going for me? Do they look about right for 5 weeks into 12/12? Here are few pics as of today.

The THC Bomb is very good quality and people like it - but it just has an odd taste that I don't really care for. It produced nice big fat buds and about 1/2 lb per plant under 2, 600W LEDS. Well, there were 6 plants under those lights... I still have seeds and a mother plant, but I didn't run it this time. I might chop the mom and make room for others...
