What everybody's favorite strain they have in the room right now here in Fl? Mine is and will always be the pre 98 bubba kush. The yield isn't where it should be, but it is by far the best I have ever had, and probably will ever have.

Hello there fellow growers! Just moved to north central FL a few months ago. It's a big change going from living on a highway in Jersey to a dirt road in Country-Bumpkinville. But I think the warm weather and solidarity I get here are going to do my plants and I just fine.

Anyone have any tips for a grower just moving into the state?

Holy living hell it's hot... We registered 103 degrees today. Top that with the humidity and I think we're set on london f'n broil right now!

Yup! 100 damn degrees all week!

@ thinking green: Set up is inside though, so I'm safe

@haloman420: Luckily for me a major route is on the butt of my ten acres; the silent hum of 18 wheelers puts me to sleep lol

Shout out to my Florida homies...and to RIU...longtime fly-on-the-wall finally decided to post due to this heat...

Florida has had a VERY hot spring, but my outdoor autoflowers are looking great. They are in full flower, 25-30 days to harvest, May 1 germ'd. The temps have been running in the upper 90's for the life of the plants, 101 today. I have to say, they need a lot more TLC, and will not be max height, but the yield and quality should be good. Trichomes started really pumping resin this week. I grow in containers, and usually bury them in the ground to keep the roots/container cool. I did not do that this year and I am really paying for it in the height of the plants. KEEP THE ROOTS COOL! I didn't do this and they were shocked. Live and learn...will be digging holes tonight.

To answer a question posed 100 pages ago, most strains will do well in Fla; we sit on the Tropic of Cancer, the outdoor growers dream. Stick with outdoor strains that are heat and mold resistant if you are new to outdoor mj growing in this heat. If it's bred for it, you can find it in the descriptions of seed stains from online seed banks. I have been growing here for years and have successfully grown a lot of strains. Indicas will finish in Sept-Oct and Sativas will finish Nov-Dec with 12-14 weeks for flowering. Worth it though for mind bending sativa divas...but north of O-town watch out for frost in December. Purple buds do great too with the cool nights in the fall.

I am running autoflowers for the first time this year, and being able to crop in July ROCKS! Easy to stealth grow since the po-po and thieves are not looking. I'll let you know how the grow turns out. Paradise Pandora (2-3' tall, thin, branchy); Buddha Seeds Red Dwarf (14"+ tall, 14" wide SHRUB), Short Stuff Blue Himalaya (10" single cola, oooozing resin). I'll post grow and smoke reports.

Peace and good harvest!

I got some bad weather the other day too. Hail tore up one of my tomato plants but I stood it back up and she looks happy again.

Yo dudes I got a guy who wants to sell me brownish blackish hash for 40 bucks a gram. That just sounds too pricey. What does hash go for in our part of the U.S.?

25 a gram for rub hash is all ill pay. if its iso or bubble hash tell him to keep it. if its rub hash its pure as it can be and it should be worth 25 or 30 bucks a gram. as long as the gram looks fat. i use a grinder and keep the keif. keif and rub hash is the same thing. so it seems easier to just use a grinder. the last time i got hash the chick gave me a quarter for 20 bucks which was a great deal and i didnt have any weed so i smoked it straight and got straight wasted

Happy fathers day everyone!! I know it's strange but I'm loving my 'free' day to clean. Getting my man cave spotless and backyard smokers spot nice and chill. Just got done steam cleaning. Can't wait to be done and watch a movie with the wife in a nice clean house! Been hitting my girl all day between cleaning tasks, I so love this pipe!
