Yea, if only it wasn't going to be 95 and raining cats and dogs every day @ 3pm in 3 months it would reeeeaaalllly be perfect.
Perfect for now though isn't it mate?!? :-P
Yeah man, i'm new to growing but I'm thinking now, as my plants are finishing up, that fall and winter are the best times to grow indoors...unless you got a commercial setup with an exclusive A/C...i dunno maybe my box is set up wrong. Seems to be getting into the 87-90 degree range this past week and a half... probably should post some pics and get some feedback on how to make it better.

try to lower those temps, in my experiences with grows that had high temps, i noticed stressing and slower growth...a cool mist humidifier will help a bit and cost 20 bucks...i keep my room 72-78 with the light on and the growth is outstanding..

I have a cooler hooked up with dryer hose with a fan flowing the cold air in, still gets a little higher than i'd like it...plus I don't have central a/c either so the room that the box is in stays a little hotter than the rest of the house...anyway, i posted some pics so let me know any way to make it cooler that you can think of.

Very pretty mud! Nice job even if your temps are a little high. I'm noticing temps creeping into the low 90's, been around high 80's the past few days thank goodness, but that's still a little to high for my tastes, you really do see growth slowed down at those levels, what could happen in 1 day takes 2 or 3. I have a plant to move my grow into a (smaller) back room of the house and install a window unit, I think that is going to really help keep things down at a decent cost, (I can cool that room to the desired temps instead of the entire house). My plants will be thanking me here in another month...

could use some tips for growing in the woods just north of tampa. I already have 10 plants growing in 2 gal pots that I placed in the woods and are doing great! I have about 100 seeds left, but I dont have any pots or dirt left. I tried planting some in the ground, but none sprouted. Is the florida soil too sandy?

I also stand behind HTGSupply, they are a great company to buy from with great prices on most everything especially lights like dude said. I just bought a 400watt digital switchable ballast from them with two 400 watt lights (a MH and a HPS) for around 280 bucks. I shopped for months and couldn't find that quality for that price. I'm very happy with it so far. (been using it about 3 months) When I turned it on the first time I was like

I will definately be buying from them again... I'm planning a drive over to Melbourne this time to check out the store itsself this time though, it's about a hour from me. Spending some time with the wife and taking a little trip to see this place in person sounds like something fun to do one Saturday coming up.
The only site I've found that has anything on them is http://www.4hydroponics.com/ because there tent brands and prices seem to be the best. Other than that I think that http://www.globalgrow.com/ has the best nute prices I can find on AN (which is from BC and geared for bud), plus, buying over 85 bucks I think is free shipping, and as always, free is hard to beat
thanks. i looked at 4hydroponics i will get the meters and nutes from them it saves a big amount when u dont have to pay shipping.
