Hey fellow Floridians...the few natives and/or old timers still out there. Quick question where do you get your hydro equipment at? I've already been to Rockledge Gardens and their selection was somewhat limited. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm kind of surprised no one here has talked about cooling their indoor grows yet. Hot as hell all the time so their must be 100's of issues. I know I have mine :twisted:

How do you guys keep your rooms cool? Anyone with a room 10' x 10' or more cooling 2 or more 1k lights? I'm thinking of getting a portable A/C so I can turn my central A/C off, close my grow room door, and enjoy the 60 and 70 degree weather we've been having. Anyone know if those portables work well? :hump:

Ya man. I've been looking at these portables. My central A/C can keep the temps in my grow room around 81-83 degrees WITH the door wide open and a fan blowing cool fresh air in. This is with it set to 78 at the thermostat.

The downside is that the house will get smelly at those special times and the rest of the house is needlessly cooled at additional electrical use. I'm wondering if a good portable would save me money. Just set it to 78 and forget it.

Decisions decisions :blsmoke::-?

I'm going to get a portable real soon just to try it out. If it doesn't cool the room I bring it back. If it does a good job but the electric bill goes up I guess it's good anyway.

I'll post on it and let you know if it works :blsmoke:

Deep in the woods. Away from rivers so the choppers won't be lookin for them. Preferably through swamps and brush so there will be less chance of ppl back there.

Yea man...deep woods are great and all but, its hard to get there.
Either a shit load of walking or you have to bring your car with you. I live in a gated community, and across the street and over a fence theres a giant field with a good amount of brush. Alot of people like to off road out there, so i dont know if its a great place to grow.

Naw, don't do it if people go out there. This might be kinda tricky, doesn't sound like you got much to work with. Try to find a spot where no one will be, good luck. Cuz if someone finds your plants they're either going to take your shit or rat you out. How many plants you doing? The less there are the easier to hide.

I'm doing like 2 or 3. It seems that people only really stick to the trail, no one really rides anywhere else. so there is a bunch of open field. The trail is right next to the fence that i have to jump over. On the other side of the trail there is some tall brush going all along it. I plan on trying to somehow get through that brush to get to the open field.It is some tall grass. I think i will just plant right on the other side of all the brush. But i don't know..

Nice plug... try eBay next time, or even craigslist. I don't think many people on this site would be willing to meet with you face to face, officer. :eyesmoke::peace:
