It's pretty awesome. I only get to play two or three times a week for a couple hours but it is a nice escape.
They did a very good job of expanding the game with choices, play style, and zombies gumballs are pretty cool.

My cuts have been transplanted. Doing an experiment with root length before transplanting.
I really need to try some KLN next time I clone to see if I can get more compact root.
Anyways I have trimmed the ends of my roots and one set of clones has roots coiled around and the other had shorter roots with no coil.
I want to see the difference in oxygen uptake between the two. Trying to determine the best time to transplant.
Trimming the ends should cause the lateral roots to explode.
I will update in a few days.

Clones are chugging along. I intend to take pictures of the roots when I transplant at 2 weeks.
I want those short squat roots that @BobBitchen gets. Going to be turning the sprinklers into misters and buying some KLN in the next couple weeks.

Any advice on cloning would be appreciated. They get this weird growth pattern while still in cloner where the new set of leaves turn downwards severely. After they are transplanted the leaves right themselves.

Anyone have a suggestion for mulch on the top of my pots? The dry air is really drying out my pots fast and I know a lot of feeder roots are at the top of the pot.
I added some more soil and a half ewc half soil mix on top. Hoping that will protect the top soil layer a bit.
Seems like they may need water every 2 days now.. bone dry the top two inches today. No bueno.

i've done straight EWC on top to slow that evaporation... seemed to work well.
i've also given a buddy some EWC to topdress to help with an unknown issue he was having. the EWC corrected his issue and also he notes that he's not fighting the hydrophobic peat on top of the pot anymore.

I'm actually just going to start my first soil grow. Waiting for the rest of my supplies to get here so I can take a crack at it. Grown DWC for a few yrs, but I'm looking for an increase in quality and some decrease in overall work. Not to mention I could stack more pots in my 3x3. I just read on another thread that some guys put hydroton on the very tops of their pots. They help keep the evaporating moisture inside the soil itself. I have a bunch so I'm going to try that also. Or you could just make some Reflectix coasters to cover the tops of your pots up?

I think I'm right there with ya. I get all kinds of zany stuff going on down there. They all still grow good but I would like to get bigger roots.

So my plants were unhappy with me letting them dry out so much. I am hoping the denser top inch of ewc/soil mix will help conserve the moisture on the top of the pot.
The girls showed some yellow on random leaves in the center of the tent. I am thinking they got hit the worst by lack of water.
I am hoping it was just a hydration issue. It doesn't seem to be getting worse. Seems to be slowly fixing itself. I will be checking tomorrow if they need water.
Humidity dropped to 30-35% from 40-45%.
Soon as I can I will upload a picture. RIU is being retarded lately.

Do you guys think they are running out of food? Is this normal with organic grows?
Tomorrow will be 4 weeks and I expect them to go another 5 and a half. Seems the damage has progressed. Or maybe the root system is still recovering? I gave them some Epsom (1tsp per gallon) yesterday.
Root zone is 66*F at night and 70*F during day. Only two fans on top of canopy.
Concerned for my babies! IT is confusing me because the fading is happening in odd places.
Could the drying of my soil have damaged the microbes? Should I brew up an AACT to help?
