I just wanted to update you all on my cloning. I am still learning when it comes to cubes but I finally figured out what was wrong with my aerocloner.

1) The LED bulb was not strong enough light. (It apparently wasnt as strong as the cfl I used to use. Dont use led fixture bulbs!) I placed the cloner back outside my tent door and got roots fairly quickly.

2) DynaGrow Protekt raises the PH of the water and was causing my clones to contort. Once I ran a batch of clones without protekt they stopped that behavior.

3) All you need is 1 tsp of KLN per gallon and healthy green clones to get roots in 7-14 days.

The last four I ran were deceptive males. The preflowers looked like calynx or the primordial leaves.

So I will be running Aloha on this next go. I have some that have rooted in the cloner and will be transplanting in a day or two.

I have been experimenting with pruning my moms and top dressings to keep them in small pots. I think I have figured it out now. I use 1/8 tsp of kelp meal every week and when the as the soil breaks down I top with 1/4 tsp of garden tone and compost. I trim em down once a week and try new methods of cloning each time.
