I made some butter once and we just put the trimmage in a bowl in a pot with boiling water ,just add butter and a bit of water, then keep stirring for about 45 minutes and add water when it looks like it's gonna start burning.

Just keep stirring and make sure the butter doesn't start to burn to your bowl, burnt butter is useless.
Then put the bowl in the freezer overnight and it will separate in 3 layers, the trimmage, water and your butter. Take a sharp knife and separate them, throw away the ice and trimmage and you're left with your butter! :)
Put this back in the freezer and make some brownies when you want to fly away ;D

hope I helped, peace

Cheers man that sounds awesome!

I think I may have over dried my buds :( I was waiting for the stems too begin snapping, and it hasn't happened still bud the buds getting crispy so I jarred it up! Hope some moisture comes back :( help!

Dry buds aren't the end of the world :) if anything it makes it easier to break off pieces and rolling a joint with it ;) I know all the gangsters call it 'Sticky Icky' but it doesn't have to be sticky :p overly sticky buds are a sign of an inpatient grower that couldn't let his buds dry decently imho :p

Hey Hanks!

Don't you panic mate. It's not the outside of the buds that makes them dry or wet.

If you have a hygrometer which fits in the jar just put it in and give it about a day to get exact measurements!

Cheers!!

Hanky92, there's 2 different options I can think to tell you about.

1) If you already have bubble bag screens, then dry-ice extraction will work. Very cheap, easy method. Just have to watch for change in color, as its easy to get more plant matter with this method if you over shake.

2) ISO extraction. 91% or higher, frozen along with frozen material and jars. Can just use a good fan to extract all the ISO in 12-24 hrs.

Hey guys cheers! Cool after I jarred them the moisture came back so I'm not as worried now lol but have a small hygrometer coming the end of the week. What % am I aiming for?

And I don't think I have enough trim too make any of these unfortunately. Maybe next time!

So a couple questions came up, and I was going through the thread again for the info: How many days did you grow end up taking?? Almost looks like a little over 60 days? Did the seeds germinate quickly??

Third, after you switched to 20/4, did you notice a difference in growth rate? I was aiming for that time schedule, but have seen so many different variables that I think it seems that is probably the best compromise for these things.

Fourth, I saw you topped at day 13.. Would you still say, after things have dried a bit, that the topped plant yielded better, even if just marginally? I'm already planning a ScROG, but would top as well but almost want to just stick to ScROG'ing first, to keep it simple..

I wish I had another Blue Amnesia seed, since I have a bag of FF Soil that I was talked out of using, and I could grow side-by-side to see which medium they prefer.. I think I'd need a bigger enclosure though, as I hope to make this thing as bushy as possible..

Hey, yeah id say the topped plant did yeild ever so slightly more, and with more lighting at the sides would of been even better..

As for the exact grow time I'll check my calendar and let you know.

Also I never changed the light cycle. These plants recived light 24 hours as day for the entire grow, lights never turned off.

Cheers

Hell yeah!! Thanks for the info!!! Once I germinate the seeds, then I'm going to start my grow journal, and hopefully, it's as awesome as yours!!!

Have you tried smoking any yet?? (I know, silly question) If so, how is it?!

I'm torn between doing a scrog for the royal Queen seeds power flower I have, or doing 4 or 5 mini auto's topped like the one I just did!

Peace!

OK guys I have a royal Queen seeds power flower that I want too do a scrog with, do u think it'll be OK?

I'm gonna measure up my cupboard and will post size. The few things I'm wondering... How far above the pot does the screen need too be?

And do I have too fim or top or do I just grow straight up too the screen? Hmm mm! Interesting!

From everything I've read and seen so far, the screens are only a few inches (or a few more centimeters if you're metric) away from the top of the plant, but it's far enough above it where there are a couple sets of true leaves.. I suppose it also depends on what kind of space you have.. Looking at your cab, I'd say you could almost do a vert/horizontal SCROG to maximize the entire area you have.. I'd also make sure you could get a hose or watering device underneath to take care of your feedings..

I've even seen on another forum, the screen was nearly 3/4 of a foot above the pot, and the guy ended up getting nearly 16oz from that one!!!! Are those seeds auto or photoperiod? If they're photoperiod, I'd be more inclined to at least top them a time or 2, as I don't have the steadiest hand, and instead of fim'ing, I'd end up topping them lol

Any smoke report on the Blue amnesia yet?!

Right it seems were back online! Anyone no what level that was about I missed this place!

I have just finished smoking the auto blue amnesia and my god it was nice. When ground it had a pungent sour fruit smell and also tasted the same.

The high was a bit of a mix, starting at the head and slowly working too a body high... Truly wonderful stuff. I'll include a photo of a fully cured nug.

Just about too start and LST kandy kush auto grow :) is it best too top the first or just LST?

Roll one!

I don't think topping is needed with LST, since you're going to distribute the tops over the length of the plant, I see no use in making 2 tops. But I might be wrong :p Also topping on an autoflower seems like a wierd idea, since they have a fixed growth time. Don't think it's a good idea to stress out an autoflower with topping AND lst. But would be a cool experiment none the less.

Hey Hanks!

Glad to hear the smoke was dope!!

Well, topping an auto is def. not the best thing you could do, it'll really be stressed!
If you plan on LSTing, don't top it mate, LSTing is about giving your lady the illusion that the side branches claim the right to be the main bud, so you're going to have like 4 or 5 tops if you do it right!!!

Cheers mate!!

That's awesome news about the smoke!! When I read the description on Herbie's, I was IMMEDIATELY sold!!! I love the fruity-flavored strains, and if I had a choice would pick those on a regular basis.. I think I might get some auto Bubblegum or something like that next, although a buddy has GDP clones and GDP is one of my absolute favorites of all time..

As for the LST, I've seen plenty of guys have success without topping, just fim'ing and LST'ing.. If you can get a little bit more light, then you'd be even better off as well!!

On a side note, I started the germination, however I ran into a small issue.... Apparently there was a hole in the small bag that separated the seeds, so I now don't know if I'm growing the Blue Amnesia or the La Diva!!! :/ I guess only time will tell, not that I'd be upset with either strain..
