First time INDOOR grower

I wouldn't say I'm an experience grower by any means but I currently have a outdoor grow and have done everything correctly so far. No dead plants, I've rid them of pests, proper feeding schedule, proper watering schedule and I'm in my second week of flowering....

I just had a few question about indoor lighting. What is the best lighting wattage to use for an indoor closet grow. I'm going to be using your average 3 x 3 x 6 closet (rough dimensions). I've seen people use as little as 150 hps up to 1000 hps? I was thinking 400 or 600, I just do not want to make incorrect purchases. Thanks for the input .

In your space id go for an air cooled 400hps. Without an air cooled light you would be battling heat problems which would in turn affect plant growth and more importantly yield

How is your grow coming along? That's sounds like an awful lot of equipment for that cheap of a price. How long have you been using it? Any problems?

Either way 400w or 600w. I have a 400w in a 2x3x5ft and a 600w in a 4x4x7ft both work well. As said before you will want to go with an air cooled hood. I like my square 26x26in blockbuster 6in. I just picked up my 400w of fleabay $112 dimmable ballast, wing hood, hangers, timer, 2 MH, and 2 Hps bulbs. I'll upgrade bulbs later its just a veg tent anyways.

If any of you can post links to these that would be great. I have been looking and looking in my spare time for some better equipment but really dont have a lot of money to be spending on lights. I do have gift cards from Lowes!! I could use online too...
