Ive been " cold cloning " for 6 years now without issue.... This batch ive decided to try warming the clone tray as ive been told to do by damn near everyone. So far ive had nothing but troubles with it. Now ill admit that the temp was up to high for a bit (82*f) and that caused an issue and that being an "auto-feed" tray has made the peat pellets to wet... but i still dont get why these clones are going yellow and looking like nute burn... Soil is fresh ive only used root gel on them. Anyone have a way to save them?DSC_0009.JPGDSC_0009.JPG DSC_0014.JPG

I think a combination of too much moisture and the added heat probably is making conditions for rotting the stems before they can root. Overly wet and overly warm sounds like the perfect storm for "damping off" to me

The ones in these pics have rooted and transplanted ( some are still in hoods) and were doing a bit better before transplant

Ca/Mg def as the roots started to feed the plant and pH imbalance till the Bio's establish themselves/lack of Dolomite lime in soil.

Solution: Do what works for you!

Solution to above problems: pH all ingoing fluids to 6.5 before use. Add a Ca/Mg supplement. Add a zyme product.

I never heat my clones either! Room or clone tent temps are always ambient temp only!

WATER THEM LESS! "Damp" not "wet" for the pots.
