Hells no!

I think I have about 2 more weeks. Both have burned up their food supply but they need to fatten up a bit more so I'm feeding them molasses until they finish. The tops I flowered out are pretty nice, especially #1 and #5. It's supposed to be an 8 week strain, but we'll see. They don't look like they're that close.

This is from Q.T. #5. This is the most purple of the family, I'm really glad I took a clone of her. I can't wait to run a full room of her. :weed:P1020501.jpgP1020495.jpgP1020511.jpgP1020510.jpgP1020517.jpgP1020515.jpg

Just a few family shots. I think I have pretty good representations of most of the phenotypes. I will take another under MH light before harvest to show the real colors. #5 is in the back right corner. When you look at the room, you can really see the color difference in her, but not so much in this light.

The smells range from super strong citrus to grape candy. About 80% milky and 20% clear. No amber yet. but I'm not really into deep body stones, so we might pull soon. I am so happy with this grow and very impressed with the Super Soil and will probably do all my strain hunting with it. Can't wait to taste this.

Well, since it was super soil and i didn't use base additives in my test, it's had to say. I didn't get any burned leaves from anything I did, including when i was hitting it real hard with Organic B. When I run the room of QT5, I'll have some hydro and will do some comparison pictures

looking good man. i did the same on my first grow with the super soil. i only topped one plant as u can see from the pic on the botttom right, but i will always top from now on. what kinda light are u using? wen i had my first grow i had many light leaks which killed my harvest. anyway here is a pic of wat a newbie did with super soil. i will probably go back and try it again sometime

Thanks FredDog! I'm running under 1000W MH/HPS. Probably be converting to (2) 600's for my next grow. Better coverage

Yes.sir that's.definitley true 2 400w r better than a 1000. So.how.much r these tents n.how.is.the.ventilation on them?

Don't even remember, I bought a lot of gear throughout my early days. Ventilation is great, helps keep a very clean grow environment, helps to keep the temps up when needed. Sort of limiting in space, but I think easier to maintain than an open room environment where who knows what's coming and going. I put my pest control near the entrances and exits, so no real issues with bugs, etc, but I check my room every day to catch stuff early.

I am so freakin' happy with this grow. I could have probably yielded a little more, but I'm a perfectionist so I would think that no matter what. Next time I'm going to reduce the plants to 4 or 5, veg them a little longer, make them a little bigger, and convert from 1 1000W light to 2 600 W bulbs that I have on order now. But other than that, the super soil worked great, the topping method worked great, the camera worked great. This was a very positive experience and probably be my preferred method for pheno hunting.

Thanks for paying attention. If you liked what I did some rep points would be cool, trying to make name for myself. In my next log I'll be running Auto Assassin from Short Stuff seeds in Super Soil to test how AutoFlowers perform in SuperSoil. I was going to compare against soil or coco, but my other two seeds were male, so it looks like I'll be doing an autoflower cross of my own in the future, maybe QrazyTrain x AutoAssassin = Qorient Exress....

Also, I'll be running some genetics gifted to me at the Cypress Hill SmokeOut called Phonex Grape Haze. Doing some more pheno hunting in SuperSoil. First I gotta finish up a run for my wife. She loves Sour SAGE, so I got some femenized seed for our first anniversary. That and some Pineapple Express. I'll post some bud porn to get more practice with my camera.

Anyway, I'm sampling QT5 as I write this, probably why I'm rambling. If it tastes this good after the abuse I put it through in that party cup, I can't wait to taste the one I finished out in SuperSoil. I just trimmed it and was high from just handling the tree as I trimmed it. Smells like grape candy. I almost can't believe I grew this.

Thanks especially to SubCool. I have so much respect for your work after this experiment. It was an honor to meet you, you're a super cool dude, thanks for signing my bong (I have it in a plexiglass case in my growroom), MizzJill you were super cool even though it was obvious that I was too much of a noob to know who you were at the time (much respect), the quality of your genetics is superb, and I got more than my money's worth. Thanks for your grow tutorials and your Super Soil recipe. Weed changed my life, you helped me elevate my world.

On to the bud shots...

Here are my first three in the experiment. They received only purified water, calmag+, hygrozyme, and molasses at the end when the leaves started to fade. The first two were very squat and I had to elevate them. As you can tell, they were short and fat and didn't grow as fast as the rest, but hopefully that means some dank bud. Q.T. 5 is my new momma, and she's ready to have some babies. Very purple, the bud is a little sparse. I think when I run it again, I'll do more time fattening the buds up. I think it could have used another 1 or 2 weeks to let it turn completely purple and let her buds fatten up a bit more.

Three pictures of each in order

These three looked very similiar and all received the full line of AN additives. Bud Blood, Bud Ignitor, VooDoo, Piranha, Nirvana, everything.

I still have to trim but so far I didn't see a huge difference between these and #5

This was another fun project. This started as a seed I found in my work area. It must be a hermie from a past project, but I figured it was a gift from the GreatMagnet, and if it wanted me to grow it, I should do so. This went from being a scraggly little mutant to a very pretty plant. Fast grower, strong, sturdy, nice clusters of bud. Still shows a few signs of hermi, i saw a nanner or two as I was taking it down, so I would've tossed these genetics, but I'm glad I grew her out.

So post #100, the cap of the journal. I'll be posting final weight and bud porn in about a month or so as I hang and dry these babies. I tend to dry very slowly...

ALSO!!!!! I will hopefully have a cool music videolog of the grow posted soon. I am working with a friend who is going to put my grow log to music. Should be cool. Hmmm, I wonder what song....

Thanks again for following. :leaf:
