Pics coming tonight, but the final count is:

Females: 6
Males: 4

Q.T. #3 and Q.T. #8 both went down in pollen coated flames.

The nice thing is that this leaves me a balance of 3 per group, and only one pheno was lost, that was the red stem/fat leaf pheno.

All plants have been bent down to maximize light penetration and since I'm down to 7 plants, I have the extra space. All plants appear to have hit the super soil as they are all nice and dark now, and have starting to grow bushy and full.

From what I can tell, the plants that are receiving supplemental additives are in fact stronger (the stems were harder to bend and keep bent), faster, taller, bushier and overall stronger. The water only group are doing good, and are catching up now that they have hit the nutrient rich bed of super soil, but you can see the difference.

However, considering how much I am putting in the mix, I have to say the super soil ones (and Roots 707 in general) produced very good strong plants for having received no other food or supplements aside from CalMag and Hygrozyme. In my next supersoil grow (featuring Pitbull from StoneyGirl gardens [36% THC!!!!] and a strain gifted to me from two guys I met at SmokeOut 2010, Phoenix Grape Haze) I will change the grow a little to take advantage of this new found knowledge

just read this thread. sweet setup dude. I like that your treating it as an experiment with a control and variable and what not. Im along for the ride hope it all works out

So I have decided to put the plants to flower since I've seen quite a bit of stretch from the tops that I am flowering out. I am leaving room for the plants to triple in size so I should be able to handle any growth that happens.

Still staying with half of the plants on H20 only, and the other half using the full AN line of additives. So far the plants are about 2 inches apart, but in reality I didn't see that much of a difference yet. It appears as if the veg additives did not really do much other than shave off a week of growth if that. Maybe it will perform better in coco during my next run, but in soil it looks like it may not have been worth the cost. I would have to add another week of veg, but considering that would have saved the cost of VooDoo, Tarantula, and Piranha, it would have been worth it. From now on, soil runs will be with just H20, and some basic additives like B vitamins, CalMag, and Hygrozyme, and maybe some root zone innoculant like Great White, but I'm not seeing the rest. Like I said, we'll see with the coco run

I think I've identified four phenotypes of the strain which I'll point out in the next few updates. I also found that one of them is a fast purpling pheno as the top I cut off a few weeks ago is starting to show a LOT of color, so that will be nice!

Can't wait to watch these girls develop... On with the slide show...

At this point I'm fairly certain she is SuperSilver Haze. She grows like a weed. Haha. Not only has this plant gone from the back to the front, it is my largest plant, and that's after bending it all over to slow it down. The bowl shape is filled with bud sites and this is going to be a heavy yielder. This one is going to be a handful... The hot ones always are, right?

Thanks! I've grown in coco in the past and liked it. There is a lot more watering since it's basically a hydroponic drain to waste system, and I have to admit the growth rate is MUCH faster than soil, but soil is SO much less headache, and I keep it pretty clean so no worries there.

Nice getting some love from across the pond!
