First "real" grow...DoinIt2Gether and doin it right (hopefully)

So the strangest fucking thing happened...two days ago I got up in the morning and went into my room and somehow the little skunk was snapped right off. I dont understand it! We dont have a cat, and the door to that room is always closed. My bf didn't go in there either, I asked him. So sometime between midnight and 5 am a really fucking HUGE spider musta climbed on it LOL jj idk wtf! Anyway, I planted another and I think I see the curve of the stem tryin to push itself up thru the dirt. The HK that was upside down died too. The one that sprouted on my last post is about 1/2 inch tall and still wearing her hat. I'm hopin she'll take that off today LOL.

I moved stuff around the veg area and added a couple more bulbs now that I have sprouts coming up. Its lookin pretty good in there. I also cut a clipping off the flowering skunk to see if I could clone, just for shits and giggles. I always use rockwool and it never works, so this time I did it like I've always done all my houseplants; I cut it and stuck it in a glass of water. I put the cup inside the clone dome. Its been two days, and I pulled it out this morning and that fucker has a little TINY starting of roots...already! If it ends up working that is definitely the way I'm gonna do it from now on lol

Dont you have a dwc setup?

I did have one, but something happened and it ended up all full of white slimy shit and I just haven't scrubbed it all out yet...

So I did something that was probably kinda pointless, but I did it anyway. I was thinking, and when I was younger my mom always rooted her houseplants just by sticking the cutting in a cup of water on the windowsill, so I thought I would try it with one of my girls. The only one that had any good shoots to clone was the skunk, and she's eight weeks into flower. So anyway, its supposed to take forever to get roots on a flowering cutting, right? Its been in a shot glass in the humidity dome to the side of the veg area for four days now, and I have had little tiny roots since yesterday! I dont think I'll bother scrubbing up my dwc yet, I think I like cloning like this...Plus it eliminates the urge to pull the little fuckers out of the rockwool to see if they are rooting. I dont have to spend the 10 bucks for the rockwool, and I can see it happen...I like this shit LOL.

Awesome, maybe run like 5 or 10 at the same time to see how many root in that amount of time.

I'm going to once I get my stuff in order and harvest my skunk. I just don't want to go over my limit and my little shot glass makes 12 exactly...

So I have a friend who is a first time grower and so he wanted some help sexing his plants. I went out with him to look at them and in exchange for my time he gave me some cuttings off his Big Bud plants. I don't know anything about this strain, anybody here ever grown it or known someone who has?

Hmmm, well I guess I'll have to try super hard not to kill em lol. I got cuttings about 4 inches or so tall...the male ones r bigger. I got 3 males and three females. As soon as I get one of the males to root I'm gonna kill the other two, but I wanna do a seed run with these in case they r really yummy so that I can add to my collection. I like havin choices A couple of the beans I planted arent coming up...so I guess its cool I got the extra cuttings...

I heard that big bud is just that, huge yields with lots of resin, but not as potent as some other strains.

Well I'll show em off to ya in a couple months...if I can manage not to kill them LOL.

I'm hoping to be back later this evening with some new pics. I finally got a chance to take some and the damn camera wont turn on, so I'm hoping it was just dead batteries; I'm charging them now. See ya'll soon!
