Good to know about the tiger bloom, thanks for the advice.

Raised the lights. I have a total of 283 watts on her right now with plenty of 2700k. Climate is excellent right now. Just under 7 inches tall now. Here are some pics:

Looking great! I like how she kinda 'naturally' stays bushy and short. Nice and healthy looking plants! +rep

I'm going to trim away some of the excess leaves today. Never done this before, any suggestions?

The plan is to trim away some of the miniature fan leaves that will do nothing but obstruct light for the remainder of the grow.

ya thats about right, you can even hack a big fan or two blocking lots of light for the lower part

I decided against trimming anything. She's doing quite well for an auto. From my research, I've found that leaves are like solar panels. As an auto, she's small and needs all the fan leaves she can get. At the very most, I can tie some of the fan leaves out of the way from the bud sites. Other than that, it doesn't make sense for me to trim.

She's up to 8in tall, thick stem, sturdy branches, healthy looking bud sites. On a 9/15 light cycle. Again, I am slowly working my way to a 12/12 cycle and plan to be there by week's end. Day temps/climate are in the pics, both F and C temps included.

Watered her yesterday and gave her about 17 fl oz. of distilled water with 3/4 tsp of tiger bloom mixed in. She is responding great to it, however, if you do the math, I gave her a concentration of nutrients equivalent to almost 5.7 tsp/gal. I did this because she is in such a huge pot and I'm only watering 1x / week at this stage.

I didn't give her much water as she didn't appear to require it. I'll water again at the end of this week. I'll be giving her just under 1/4 gal of distilled water with the same amount of tiger bloom next go around--that is a 2.8 tsp/gal concentration. Next week she'll probably require a more frequent watering schedule--I'll water around 1/4gal 2x during the week. To avoid burning the roots, I'll lower the concentration as she starts to demand more frequent watering. I'll give her 1/2 tsp of tiger bloom mixed in with 1/4 gal--this will bring me back up to 5.6 tsp of tiger bloom per week.

Why wouldn't all comments be welcome? :bigjoint:

I can't stress enough how happy I have been with her growth. The strain looks so healthy and seems like its preparing for a solid yield. The aroma is isn't potent yet and is still pretty raw, but my room smells like mj. All this despite her early episode where she was on the verge of death. I contribute her health to the size of my pot combined with as infrequent of a watering schedule as possible, yet still a healthy one. DO NOT OVERWATER. Allow your pots to dry out completely so as they dry, your plant will expand and grow its roots on the hunt for moisture. Find the perfect watering schedule and your babies will love you. And use an obnoxious amount of perlite.

The 'before' pic is not even the worst of it. This was the first pic I had and it was post-transplant from a solo cup. The stem is buried about 1.5 inches in this pic.

thats a very happy lady you got, seems like yall made a connection and sounds like the pay off is guna be hella bomb

All of my FF nutes came. Big bloom instructions say you can use it 1x/week during all life cycles of the plant. It also uses tbsp doses instead of tsp doses. I'm just going to start using tiger bloom and big bloom together, obviously in less than recommended doses. At the first sign that the plant is pulling nitrogen from the fan leaves, I'm going to give it a small dose of grow big for 2 waterings. You'll all be able to see how this works out :weed:

I burned my plant a little bit with the first dose of Tiger Bloom I gave it. I simply gave her way too much. Luckily my pot is gigantic so it didn't do that much damage. Damage is included in the pics.

I decided I'm going to remain on around a 16/8 light cycle until the end.

she's shown much improvement. But i know what would help you out. Tie her down so that more of your light can get to the lower buds. No need to trim leaves.

no, I believe the first number is the light number. 16 hours light, 8 hours of darkness. For autoflower plants, apparently it can go all the way to harvest with 20/4. But my gut instinct tells me to give it some more darkness to sleep
oh ok so i dont know much about autoflowers, seems ther is alot of differences so ill do some home work. ya go with the gut buddy, so like napa said you could do some LSTing. not quite as harsh as my chem dawg, but spread her out abit, you know kinda like the kush from my first grow? sorry i accually jus took it outa my sig but if you or any one else here wants a look ill post it up

Definitely not going to trim any leaves. I've been thinking about either tying her down a bit, or lowering the 42w 2700k cfls and keeping that 68w 2700k high and centered. I rotate the pot 90 degrees every morning.

All the bud sites noticeably improve, daily.

I'll post more pics half way through her second week of flowering. So, around Monday.

Yeah, autos go pretty damn fast when the growth spurt hits. Watching her grow during veg is ok, flowering is a whole different story.

Watered last Friday, no nutes. Goin to water again on Wednesday with about .75tsp/gal of Tiger Bloom and about 1.75tbs/gal of Big Bloom.

She's looking great, I'm pretty damn excited:

Two weeks into flowering now. She's 13 inches tall and the base of her stem is a little over 1/4 inch in diameter. Ended up watering it on Tuesday with nutes. Watered it yesterday with distilled only. Looking good...
