I cut my clones and dip them in rootech or olivias immediately after the cut. I insert the cuttings into rockwool or rapid rooters. I feed them water and 1/4 tsp per gal Thrive Alive B-1. I throw them in a tray with a 8" high humidity dome and a hydrofarm seedling heating pad underneath. I feed them water about once a day or as I see the medium getting dry. I also take off the dome 2 or 3 times a day to give the some fresh oxy

Make sure your heating pad isn't getting too hot. Mine ran around 85-90 degrees and was made for germinating. I thought it was a little too hot though so I put a few magazines between my heating pad and my tray.

i have a tray with water in it and a tray in that tray with the white tray in that one holding the rockwool. figured it would help if it overheated. but i keep it on meduim so its around there.

FUCKING RIGHT!!! finaly some show of progress. its day 15 and today i found the first root poking right out the bottom of one of the cubes. the plant is right in the middle of hights and healthines look wise. im taking it that this means the rest will be following close behind! as soon as theres some real noticable progress ill post pictures.

it took so long because i like said you have the light too close. clones should be in contact with indirect sunlight... just because your beaming it with light doesn't mean that's helping it grow

bend the top shoots more.. tying down two or three branches and calling it lst is not really lsting... lsting is something you have to do almost every 3 days so ALL THE BRANCHES ARE THE SAME HIEGHT... that's the whole purpose-level growth... that's not lookin level yet. even though your plants way past the point when you should have started, you can still lst your plant but rightnow you haven't done very much -constructive criticism

i had a 13 inch plant growing strait up with nothing done to it to a 5 inch 100 degree bend at about the 5th node, the plant is curling the oposite way its top would normaly be facing from the transplant. all of the branches have shot up and have started growing lateraly, i have my 400w set up now, so I'm hoping it all evens out soon.

also last night i placed my mother up on a 5 gallon bucket to get it closet to the light, i guess it was just a little too close and the light burned some of the leaves, they are dry and crumbly, one or two of the branch tops are burned perty bad. as soon as i woke up and my whole plant was drooping like crazy, i put it back on the floor and gave it some water, within a few hours it looks like this again, alot of the leaves look healthy again but some are still really dry and crumbly. it is or at least was starting to level off.

k well moms all better, growin good agin. the 2 worse of the 3 first clones look perty bad... more stick than plant, the other that was doing quite well now has this white powery lookin shit on some of the leaves and those leaves look like theyre dying. i took 2 more clones when the other hit 2 weeks and put those in jiffy pellets, they are now at day 6 and look great.
i put a strip of mylar over my clones to block the light and moved the fan to the floor, if they dont show improvement by the time my other 2 root idk...

i think my success rate would have been durasticaly better if i had waited a few more weeks to take the first ones. it would have been the difference in a 3 node little clone to a 10 noded, practicaly little bush... so thats something to remember... wait longer to take clones... idk... im kinda thinking i should wait till i can move and have more space so i can have the clones just under a cfl or two instead of the 400w... the next grow i do is going to be from seed in the tote system, now that would also suck if they all or most of them turned out male... but whatever... i figure i should take it one new thing at a time. so if these clones i have in the tote dont make it, im taking the two in peat and planting them in soil. ill keep my mother and those two in the closet and just say fuck the hydro for now. ill do my grow through to flower, and then do the from seed in the tote with the mh... then when i move, maybe pick back up on cloning. this was my first time using an HID, hydroponics, nutes, and first time cloning. so yea... sorry its kinda turned into a failure, ill still go with this grow journal but like i said i think its only going to be soil again from now on.

k so my mom loves the extra space it has without the tote system in there, not to meantion the direct light. the 2 clones i had in peat pellets never started to root so i recut placed them both in new pellets in soil. thats at the right in my pics, found some little tupperware that fit right in the pots as a little humidity dome, i have two seeds i started in water and placed in peat pellets, they are on the only heating pad i have...
