All depends on how much space your working with. There gona stretch a bit when u switch to 12/12. I'd go with a small dose of grow big with out the big bloom. Your FFOF should be doing her good for the time being so really you shouldn't have to use the grow big.

Room isn't much of a problem. But I'm getting anxious ha ha. I may begin flowering next week. When the plant is 7 weeks old.

So I went and turned the lights on today and little ms Auto was showing her pretty face. As seen in the picture, the shell hasn't quite shed yet. Any ideas on how long I should expect until leaves? I Took the humidity dome off too, good idea? She looks pretty crooked also but I realize it's young. Patience haha. Anways, here's a quick pick of my power flower also, which is looking bigger by the day

no don't stress the auto yet she looks fine from here. 50% of the time the first leaves come at odd angles or only one will show the first day. I'm 99% sure it will be just fine.

Auto looks fine to me, as well as the Power Flower. Now do you have a seperate room for the auto?

Well I have a different room for the Power. When I switch the power over to flower I'll be taking her out of the tent and into a spare closet of mine for her 12 hrs of darkness.

Everything's looking good man!

Thanks NONhater! I decided today I'm going to initiate flowering tomorrow. Switching the lights to 12/12 and adding one of the 2700 k bulbs in my t5. So I will have 1 6400 k and 1 2700 in the T5. Then I will have 2 5000 k cfls "75 watt" and 2 "13" watt 2700k cfls. I will of course give her 24 straight hours of darkness before going in for flowering. Here's the pics from today. Just gave it a nice watering with just Calmag plus.

The auto will still be on 18/6. I will just be taking the power flower out after 12 hrs and placing in into an isolated dark room.

Will you for sure be able to do this with work and everything? Screwing up the light schedule can cause unneeded stress.

Yep! Perks of being laid off until summer. I'm getting paid to learn how to grow ;) Here in the next few weeks I'll be putting together another little grow area in an extra closet for the Auto so I won't need to worry about separating them everyday.

Good deal! I think with the auto I may try cropping. After seeing how bushy the power flower is. Is that even recommended with an auto? Or could it still be done with the power?

I've never grown an auto but the main point of growing them is a fast harvest , topping will slow down the plant slightly always in recovery only like a day or two usually. This is usually why people don't top auto's from what I've seen, then again I'm sure there's people that do. But with that power if u plan on putting it on flower , never really wanna top right before throwing into flower. That would be like stress on top of stress putting it in right before putting her into flower. And I want the buds to grow fast when flowering so don't really wanna too during flowing. When going into flowering you will notice the plant slow day for a day or too then begin to explode stretching up 14in on average-less with in 10-14 days then slow down stretching then hairs begin to come in and that's when the plant begins to just focus on growing flowers. Looking forward to future progress. Doing good so far. Can u take a pic of the light set up?

I think I may have the wrong idea of what cropping is haha. Are cropping and topping the same thing? What I would like to do is tie down the stems to let more light in. Don't really know the right term people use for that. I just rearranged my tent to better utilize the space. I attatched a pic of my setup. The Power just got its first light in 36 hours. These pics were taken right away. She definitely stretched a bit while in darkness. My auto is still doing the same as you can see
