LOL... thats why I dont staple... LOL... nothing set in stone.
Well I used duct tape at first... That didn't stick... I used electrical tape after that... That didn't stick... I used a wide type of electrical tape that looks like duct tape... That kinda stuck but not really... So my last resort was staples. everything is nice and orderly as hell though. It's pretty nice.

Well...
Speaker Box = I got 2 from a church rummage sale lol for $10
2 24" Lights of America Grow Lights = $13x2 = $26
Old computer fan and old laptop charger = I had lying around my house. Probably about $40?
68W (300W incandescent equivalent) CFL [linked to home depot] aka the bigass CFL making most of the light = $16
Direct Plug-in Socket [linked to home depot] - So I can just use an extension cord to power the big CFL = $3.
Extension cord - found one laying around but like $3?
Miracle Grow Moisture Control - $10 a bag. 8 quarts in one bag is good for one box.
Misc. stuff like tape and staples I just had around the house. - Add in like an extra $5?

So I'll try to break this down into what I know and what is a guess.

$55 (you'll HAVE to pay) + speaker box (if you don't already have one) + computer fan and something to power it (if you don't already have one) + extension cord (if you don't already have one) + Tape and staples to organize cords (if you don't already have some)

I hope that wasn't confusing as fuck

EDIT: Forgot you asked about stealth
Yeah it's very stealth. Just looks like a speaker, I just suggest putting it somewhere with background noise all the time unless you get a quieter fan than I have. I have my computer running in the same room so it sounds like the computer is making the fan noise. Then I have a few things on top of the speaker and a lamp I always leave on to cover any light that gets out of the box through the exhaust port. Looks nice though.

Ahhh. I hadn't checked out your grow but wow! I just did and I gotta admit it's pretty awesome! It's also pretty epic that your a mom that grows. Must ask though, how do you keep it hidden from the kids? lol

They're looking great too! I love budget grows.

Is this normal? My other grow on day 3 was nice and symmetrical and it was all green and doing great! This WW... not so much... It's smaller rounded leaves are lopsided and have a little bit of black color to them. I watered this one quite a bit more than the other to get all of the soil wet. Could that be causing it? I really don't wanna lose my baby widow!

Could it be the temp? It's like 74F during light and like 68F during dark. I'll try to keep it a bit warmer now.

just let her grow... dont water until the soil is dry through... do you have some sort of drainage???
Stupidly no I don't. I didn't really think about it until after I already had the box built and couldn't put some type of drainage in it. Because of that, I never water it a ton, I just get the soil moist and track how far down the water by sticking my finger down in the soil and checking. I know this was stupid stupid stupid but it's the best I can do. I have a pretty good idea of how much to water now though to where it doesn't collect in the bottom.

lol... live and learn man! Next time though... lol! I'm sure she will be fine... the tricky thing about plants, is they grow the most when you are not looking.

Thanks for the reassurance!

LOL! Truer words have never been spoken.

Well I just used a heater an it auto shuts off at a set temperature so I just set it to shut off and keep the room at about 75F or so so now I keep it at 81-83F. Should be much better. It will also raise the night cycle temps too.

This is still concerning me the rounded leaves turned from a purply black to a dark purply green. I guess warmer temps may be helping a bit. But the thing that is really concerning me is the lopsided leaves. Seriously what is up with this?

Sweet. Starting to look better. Leaves are losing the bad colors and are mostly dark green now. Growing out nice and strong. Getting more symmetrical.

Sasha looks great! LOL, love the new names. Told ya she just needed to grow. Rico looks like he might need some TLC (tender loving care)... Don't water him again until he is dry... What type of light is he getting? Is he in the grow box with Sasha?
