lookin good man keep it up,,,, but just so you know for lighting next time... start on 12/12 and as the flowering stage goes on cut back the light every now and then.. this will actually get you a bigget yeild the your 13/11 theory... i say your theory simply cuz due to photosynthesis a MJ plant produces its flowers when it starts to die, but when you cut back light and lower temps it forces the plant to think its dieing faster when its really not, which will make the plant RE-PRODUCE its self and make the buds grow bigger...........not saying your 13/11 wont flower a plant cuz it will.. but i know for a fact due to photosynthesis that cutting back on light will get you a bigger yeild

Thanks for the input man. But doesn't more light create a bigger yield? During the night hours only resin is being produced.

no more light during flowering dose not increase your yeild (unless its higher wattage) for example if you had a 600HPS for flowering and then one day decided to get a 1000watt HPS for flowering the 1000 watt would get a bigger yeild then the 600watt..... with any plant not just MJ... iv got my horiculture degree,.... having a bigger wattage light will give you a bigger yeild,, but having your light on for longer during flowering wont give you a bigger yeild,, cuz when any plant produces its flowers it is cuz it is starting to die off,,, tricking it into thinking its dieing faster will up yields.....if you think about it more then just resin is being produced at night time because turning back your light from 18/6 or what ever you use for vegg to 12/12 is what sparks the plant and makes its flowers start to produce, so therefore the buds are also growing at night time... if just having your light on for longer and sayin more light in flowering will get you a bigger yeild when its not actually higher in wattage its just on for longer then 12/12, wouldnt we just leave out lights on for 24/0 for flowering to get the biggest yeild,,, which wouldnt work just dont make sense

im not tryin to force you to do it this way, and not saying what your doing is wrong,, but try it out on your next ones and see what happends

Just a side note after too many broken air stones... http://www.walmart.com/ip/Aqua-Culture-Bubble-Aquarium-Stone-1-ct/10532630

This is the best air stone we have used so far. Only one side means the water very easily rinses through the whole stone quickly (leaving no residue) and it is way harder to break. Not to mention it really competes with hydro store prices (especially if you just walk out with them... for fuck's sake, it's Wal Mart). Also, there isn't a little piece of plastic planted into the end of the stone, meaning it can fall out and fall apart. The plastic part is built on so you'd really have to TRY to break this thing.

Just a head's up! In case you hate air stones as much as we do.

Excellent job you're doing there ladies - good work! I'll be interested to see the end results - I presume you must be somewhere near harvest time now? What kind of drying/curing method do you plan on using?

I've got some 5 litre airpots for my next grow, though I'll be using soil and growing a couple of types of auto (AK47 and White Dwarf). I hear reports of a 30% increase in yield using airpots... sure looks like it might've helped with your grow!!

I'm scared of trying DWC or anything like that just yet - you're brave going straight into growing like a pro (mucho respect!) and it seems your initial research has paid off.

Hey everyone sorry we haven't been on here in awhile. Things have been busy and we just planted six new clones... three blackberry kush and three northern lights. As far as results from our headband crop, the product is top quality. We never weighed everything out total when it was dry, but we definitely yielded over half a pound. We'll upload some pictures tomorrow. The smell and taste is unlike any other strain and the high is terrific. The root structure in our air pots was also incredible... again, pictures tomorrow. Thanks for staying posted everyone!

Ok guys here is a picture of one of our root clusters. This is only part of the root structure left in the pots... this is just the part that stayed whole. We'll get some pictures of the bud soon along with a link to our new journal. Thanks for staying posted everyone. :]
