Thanks. Ah your girls are looking nice aswel mate especially for your first grow. My girls are pretty snow white ill try catch a pic of the trichs later. My first grow i got 12 zips of blue cheese. My best grow so far and only did topping. I like the whole method of mainling so ill probably continue to use the technique in my other grows.

Hey guys. Im new here. Came across this thread and have been tuned in . Really nice work guys. And im loving your mainlining Hydo Dan. Im on my 3rd proper grow and its my first attempt at mainlining. Not very happy with it to be honest as i did it so wrong. I waited too long in veg to start building my manifold and left it too long to switch to flower i think.

But anyways heres my 4 Huwaiian Afghan.
33 days into flowering.
Biobizz flowering nutrients
50/50 perlite/coco
600 watt dual spectrum hps
Hmm, what is Mainlining?

Cool, NugBuckets did some justice with that. I'm working my way towards something like that. I had said somewhere before I was topping too late, like after 4 nodes. I need to top the 3rd shoot, because the bottom few are always wasted. I like to top em, grow out a few nodes and top again, strap those stems down and force 2 or 3 nodes to Branch out and up, then the new double nodes start. I use my green ties to conform the plant to my big 7 gal pots laterally and vertically, then flip to bloom to have a semi-even bush canopy. Avoiding a screen because it looks like a pain in the ass to water, flush, maintain.

That looks like a sweet setup. Your girl in the middle is looking nice. What strain is that one?how far into flower are you? Sorry if you already said lol
No Problem. Middle and Left are PeakSeedsBC SkunkBerry, and Right is PeakSeedsBC NorthernSkunk. Middle is day 55 right now, pic was Monday. 9 week strain roughly. Other two are day 18/20 right now, but pic a few days old. I have a SkunkBerry mother, and working toward a NorthernSkunk mother right now. Lots of SkunkBerry clones going. I have a few seedlings from Peak, 2 KushBerry and 1 SweetSkunk. Busy Busy!

So this might be a reaction to my last 50/50 Veg/bloom feeding two or three waterings ago... and it was just too much nitrogen.
Or it could be a combination of the underwatering and some nitrogen tox... I'm leaning more toward the nitrogen. It seems textbook nitrogen tox but some sources online say to be careful not to mistake it for underwatering (they usually dry out between waterings).
I'll start giving them more frequent water especially now they're in full bloom now. But I was going to just ride this out
The two tallest MAIN stems only on one plant show this.
*
-Every single other fan leaf in the garden on both plants is flat as a board or angled upward...
*
Temps and humidity fine. If anything I might cut the cal-mag out for a while. It has a bit of nitrogen in it...
Thoughts?
Once again you diagnosed your own problems.. I concur.. a little too much N and a little under watering.. Looking really good!

Not jacking your thread bro:) Just sharing the love. I'm pretty curious to see how these do under CFL late in flower. I'm pretty die hard HPS.
All good! Was a busy day at work. This sour d is easing my mind ha. I'm
Curious as well as I have no clue what they'll yield! If I could have an hps or lived in a legal state I'd have such a sick setup :(
I'll eventually grab some timber lights for a two plant Veg/flower tent when I get a house (and NY finally pulls their heads out of their asses lol) that will do nicely and keep me in fresh green no problem. But I'm amped about this tiny first grow!

First day of Week 4
The smaller plant with the more even canopy has some fat buds going. Larger plant with taller colas isn't as dense so far. Just bigger. Nitrogen tox remains on same leaves but all is well elsewhere
Sorry about the cat hairs. My boys keep watch over the garden ;) happy toking!
