First grow ever - ILGM SSH(fem)

Looks great! I'm still in my first week of my first grow. Glad you posted the pictures of the nooch burn so I know what to look for. Check out my grow if you'd like. I am curious to see how your space bucket goes. I initially planned my first grow in a space bucket as well. Even built it. But then I snagged a 2x2x4 gbox tent for 60 bucks.

I don't know much about FIM but it looks like the early progress of it. Kinda makes funny leaves. At least what i saw then the plant bushes outward instead of upward. But I am just a noob.

I didn't FIM low enough so it didn't take, but did slow down vertical growth and she bushed a bit. Going to start LST once she gets a couple more inches taller.

I've been really hard on this girl, nute burn, light burn, underfed, and overwatered. Do it wrong, mess up, then remember what you did and don't do it again. You can read all the books you want, but the only real learning is doing it. She'll teach you more then pages can.

Oh and I am still waiting on my second order from ILGM. I ordered 5 purple haze. and am getting 5 free seeds. Do you know which type of seeds they send? Randoms?

My first order got her within like 10 days. Waiting 18 for the second order.

The free are the same genetics you choose, no random there. I only purchase femenized. All my friends like to mother and clone. So that's what I'm going to do . . . Gonna make the few hundred beans I have last years lol

Looking like good progress!

It looks like it gets a little hot in there (86° I saw in one of the pics). Maybe keeping the roots cool would help with any burn/deficiency signs. The over watering you were saying happened may be OK if its that hot. Anyway, cool space bucket man. Seems like a solid setup.

Yeah, she is sativa dom. and seems to like the increased temps. My intakes are at the bottom going right next to the pots. Next time I have some expendable cash I'm going to buy an actual 4 inch duct fan and carbon grow filter, pipe both 2 inch exhaust to a 2x4x2 T (if I can find such a thing) that should triple my cfm and drop temps well . ... Just takes money

4 days later . . . Feeding tonight, upping to 3/4 strength to see what happens, she is now taking 1/2 just fine . ...

Second attempt at a FIM

Is it weird that she generally only keeps 3-5 sets of fan leaves, and kills any fans lower then them. Kind of an "auto-prune"???

On another note, She just started alternating nodes. Also my FIM may have been a little aggressive this time and in the first alternate node. I also may hand effectively topped her (no real worries if I did), but looks like the possibility of 5 tops. Still a little early to tell I believe. She was stressed for about 12 hours and then resumed growth. Exploding side growth to note.

Well it was a busy 4 days, got my cab temps corrected for the time being (revamping the filters for better flow and more surface area worked), ordered two duct fans (hoping they will allow me to use all my lights).

Today is the big flip 36 hours of darkness to spring her into flower mode.

Had her back 10 days, put her immediately in ICU. A good hard flushing and some major micro-management she is showing signs of positive growth, and is picking up pace . . Just hope she isn't herm!!!

I know I could just scrap her, cut a clone from the other surrogate, and start back and not have last much. . . It's just something to do
