Hahaha! I think its the Fumes..I did just paint the interior of the little grow box I have...not sure its safe to add plants back for a while.
HMMM toxic fumes for a seedling? Yea, I am pretty sure that would not be a good thing.

image.png Last night I killed an adult Fungus Gnat sitting in my pot on the top soil.

Which is common for my climate and area.

http://www.ilovegrowingmarijuana.com/marijuana-pests-fungus-gnats/

After reading this I see that maybe the larvae have been slow the growth down and causing the leaves to appear unhealthy.

I am picking up new water today and I have hydrogen peroxide. I'll start with 1:8 mix.

Some blogs said this is OK for young cannabis seedlings. I have no choice or the larvae will eat them dead :(

Has anyone ever had this problem? Or needed to water with peroxide before and can let me know what to expect?

This becomes a life long passion,The main thing i would advice any new grower is do not over complicate things there really is no need.
Buy good medium,Stick with a couple of growers with proven track records on here or your head will be spinning, because each grower has different ways of growing,But most of all enjoy it,don't let it become a stress ,i have stress in my growing just because its illegal, and im wanting to get my flowers done and out just in case,if ya get me.But i never stress early on in veg or early in flowering its all ways after week 6 ish, just because its a fucker if the scum, decide to hit you when you are nearly at the finish line. The seedlings that you have popped look very good just keep the lights close to them and you should do ok,keep us up-dated with the grow.

peace may jha bless your garden dude

Almost 24 hours since painting inside of grow box. Light smell still....waiting to put the girls back in their extended stay.

Read the paint I used is 100% non toxic to plants...right now it's sitting in front of a dehumidifier getting nice and dried out.

Temp 80
Soil temp 70
RH 32%

Dropped RH this morning after noticing a fungus gnat adult and what appears to be a few flying babies here and their.

Making sure top soil gets nice and dry which is almost is then bumping humidity back up 60-70% range

Hoping this doesn't affect transpiring and where growth is directed for the moment.

Dude I Doubt you have a fungus nat problem this early on, Only way is if your soil is WET as fuck, and stays wet!,

I think what your doing is reading to much information, and becoming like a hypochondriac. I did it when I first started growing to, but that leads to a lot of mistakes, that could have been prevented, for Example, I seen a light yellowing on my plants, so I thought they where missing Cal/mag (because I've read it in a forum) I ended up burning my plants, and couldn't even smoked what I harvested.

Just use the information as needed, than once you get some grows under your belt, You'll know how to fix a problem without help from the internet, I've been growing for like 3 yrs so far and learned a lot, Now All I really have to do is change my reservoir every 2 weeks, and Harvest, No dealing with problems, this whole last year, Each harvest I had was smokeable & tasty!

I agree! Got a mild case of who's touching my girls. Thought I had figured out why my plants still look the same as they did day 3 and it's nearly day 20 for some

If their was growth like I see with other CFL journals using zero nutes.

Then all I would be posting is happy growth pics and gifs..hopefully they hit a spurt soon. They want to post selfies and duck face pics

Damn I missed a bunch but everything looks like its coming along really nicely! I do believe the yellowing was probably from a ph issue but i could be wrong, did they rebound? Cant wait to see the new room you painted and how far along the girls have come

Hey Steve,

I haven't painted the bedroom/closet just yet...got the paint but am going to get to that this weekend!

I did get my meters in and PH was high.

images.duckduckgo-1.jpg

This chart suggest that the most important nutrient for seedling, N, is cut back after 8.0PH which slowed the vigorous initial growth I should have had with the stems and leaves.

Also with my PH being around 8.1-8.7 from tap the chart above shows Phosphorus weirdly no available to the plants with the average PH of what my tap had for the first 2 weeks.

That being said...the growth is terribly embarrassing but I did learn a LOT right off the bat there during the first 2 weeks.

I was a helicopter parent and nearly killed them all.

Eased up and left the water alone which was happening daily, and these girls seem to be slowly recovering from my abuse.

I have FF Nutes being delivered on Monday or possibly Tuesday.

IMG_1753.jpg IMG_1755.jpg

Notice some of the cotyledon are nearly transparent..I assume the baby girls ate every lick of nutrients they could provide.

Last night I got a little nervous and nearly went to treating them with 1/10 mix of MG Tomato 18/18/21 but wimped out due to lack of info and it was getting late!

Im scared these girls may take some more steps backwards before the FF nutes get in.

most the drooping they had has lifted. I'd say a couple more days and they should be perky again, but the color hasn't really turned back. Still lime greenish.

Well I was wrong on shipping Nutes just got dropped off by post lady. I assume the PH + - will be here by UPS soon.

Discreet, very nice =)

Love the labels on these steroids. No horse or anabolic sticker required haha!

Time to do some more researching on good time for my girls to get their first feeding...They have some stunted growth from over watering and bad PH...

I may just hold off and keep getting the PH lowered, run off is a little higher then I would like..plus they are still recovering from my helicopter parenting and then abuse by drowning. So sad they are nearly 2 weeks and look the same as day 2 some of them =( If your reading I'd love your advice! Thanks guys!

Room temp 84
Soil temp 81 yikes trying to drop this without giving them any water
Humidity 54%

Just put them in their new box, with the painted white walls its gotten higher temps today then others...cooling the room now slowly with fresh air from outside

Let them dry out real nice before you add those nutes. Get the ph dialed in hell if you have to use vinegar as a ph down to get them in line. You dont have to use it for very long only until the new solution comes in.

PH solution says it should be here by 8 PM today. Haven't watered today as I have been trying to really dry and recover, from over watering.

Once it arrives I will get tap water in check. I need to read up on PPM guidelines for seedlings. I found a nice chart on FF website for a soil grow. Is that worth following. I would assume!

Decided to do a a feeding just now after checking a few and seeing how dry they were getting...

I mixded up some big bloom at 1 1/2 tsp per gallon....went with much lower then directed (not sure if that is too low)

They all seem to have really perked up from the little bit I tested last night when I just watered enough get every damp...

here is a picture of our girls last night at 8pm
IMG_1764.jpg IMG_1765.jpg

some spiraling inward going on =\ lots of drooping...

Here is a picture of them just a moment ago after a good feeding

FF Big Bloom 1.5tsp/gallon
FF Grow Big .5tsp/gallon
PH down 6.4

still reading up on the PPM info

Air temp 86
RH 50-55%
Soil Temp 72

Girls are looking great! Most have started working on the first set of "3 leaves"

So happy! I can't believe my eyes. Such a wonderful feeling!!!

Hope everyone has a beautiful Sunday! We are out of the terrible rain storm that hit the US and finally have some sunshine today!

I'd like to purchase these two items...

Any opinions or insight will be much appreciated family! Thank you! image.jpegimage.jpeg
