First ever grow, auto BB and NL starting week 5

If your water is hard, I was taught that you want to let it sit for 24hours before use to let some of the gasses evaporate off. You could also aerate the water using a pump from a for a fish tank, doing that over the 24 hour period should be more effective then just letting it sit. I was told this by an Agriculture professor so I will defer to her wisdom.

Thanks Smokie,
I do use my bubbler for the water for about 24 to 48 hrs. I just think they were getting way to much with the addition of the cal mag. since I stopped the cal mag they have been doing a lot better these past waterings. glad to see your grow is coming on along.

Just a quick update. Yum yum this blueberry is smelling so good and so fruity. I cannot wait to get some smoke from this girl. I am planning on cutting her down next week around day 62. Think I'm gonna take a sample this week some time and report back on how that goes.

Week 8 Update:
The Blueberry is so persitent to keep trucking along throughout all of my mistakes. I know that my mistakes considerably hurt my yields. It is so amazing how strong these plants are. I had been thinking that she was getting nute burn, and I have realized that I was under feeding. She is a trooper for real and I plan on harvesting her at 9 weeks.
The Northern lights is looking so much better and will give me a better yield, but with making the mistakes that I have with the Blueberry she will do a lot better and she will be receiving her first drink of botanicare ripe, I think that is where I was going wrong by not giving enough and also higher ratios.

Only at 44 days from sprouting, another week would be 51. That is a seriously quick plant! Going by the first picture, those hairs are still very white and prominent, and I'd be hoping for them to be changing colour and retreating back in. Trichs do look cloudy in the second picture, but that could be blur from the cameras' inability to focus at that level of zoom.

Fuck knows mate! Haha, take a tester nug when you think they look good. Then leave it another week
How's everything going on your end? The BB hit the 56 day mark and I think another week and she should be good. She was moving to fast for me to keep up with lol.

Yeah, not going too badly mate, just been getting real slack with the photo updates. I'll do some tonight, got a tent upgrade arriving so I'll be disturbing the ladies all evening. Showing a little yellowing, so I wonder if I switched to bloom nutes a touch too early, nothing much to worry any though. She smells so good!

Yea I heard that sick. This is one big learning session with me. I guess for my nutes it's a 3 part but thought I could just get by with the grow and bloom, but needed the ripe for the last 3 or so weeks of bloom so I guess I will see how it works with the Northern light Friday. She started showing same signs as the blueberry when I was going through pics.

What nutes is it you're using? I'm using a three part cheapo (poundshop) nute combo - veg, bloom and pk13/14. I'll be growing some hempy buckets next, so thinking about switching nutes out to something with a bit more heritage behind it. So many options out there, pretty much torn between Canna Coco or GH Lucas Formula.

Just bought Canna Coco A&B, thought it seems quite a simple system, and people seem to get results! Besides, my local hydro shop (400 yards from my doorstep, 24/7 emergency contact number) had it in cheap, lol. New tent goes up tonight, give my ladies a bit more breathing room and maybe drop some more seeds. Good times!

I'm using botanicare grow, bloom, and now ripe on the NL to see if that helps. I will get the ratios of the formulas in a little while. Everything has gone well until the the last stage of flowering. The bloom is a 2-2-3 and the ripe is 1-5-4

I think I will be giving the blueberry the choose this Friday hopefully. She is filling out nicely and smelling so fruity. She be be roughly 66 days from sprout. I think my norther lights might be going roughly a total of 80-90 days from sprout. I took a little sample of the blueberry and it seems like it is going to be an awesome smoke if I can get the drying and curing done.
I will be using the boveda packs has anyone used the 62% packs?

Thanks sick can't wait to get this harvest done and, and start on the drying and curing phase. The blueberry has turned out to be more of my trial and error plant. But I think the blueberry is going to smoke nicely.

They are all looking cloudy with a few amber. I'm gonna see if she is going to fill out more, and get a few more plain watering.

oh thanks this has been a very interesting road and still is interesting. I will be doing weekly updates on Wednesdays to track there weekly grow til harvest. when I first was reading about auto's everything would say don't train them or top, anything that will stress an auto. I think that is true to an extent, the BB has been topped and lst, I believe that I topped her to late. she was topped at 3 weeks old. I believe that if I would have topped earlier she would have been a lot better.
Well crafted mate, v nice. I'm also on this road and yes it is interesting. I topped mine last week and they reacted good but I ll let the lst thing for the next run, so far so good.
