Here in Montreal we have a pot store for ill people.... Check their website. www.clubcompassion.com..It has all the sickness that allow you to smoke here, plus the strains.....e-mail them, maybe they can hook you up in Vermontthanx allot once again your all a big help .does any one know if i can get medical marijuana treatment for this in vermont ?
Yes ... try this:hey thanx allot do you know if any other medications work well ?
Fibro is DEFINITELY a chronic condition, it is not terminal unless one considers suicide as a factor, to the best of my knowledge.
Yes, I mean Canada, Vermont's not so close to Mexico and their marijuana laws are rather strict.
I understand about the pain, the oxycontin, even if it does work, needs to be monitored and will lose efficacy after a period of time. It's not even working for you at all, so why take it, right? I assume that you know that marijuana works for you, so the question for you at this point is procurement. If you're close enough to Canada, then it seems to me that, even if you have to limit yourself to smoking it while there (get a hotel room, maybe?) then for at least that period of time you'll get some relief. Even a brief respite from chronic pain is important, I really do understand that. Hell, the other night my husband did a hip rub for me and it felt SO good I wanted to cry, literally. I hadn't realized just how much I've been hurting without any relief until I felt those few minutes of no pain.
So, yeah, if you've got a diagnosis of fibromyalgia, you qualify as a chronically ill patient.
