It's pictures like these that make me have that itch to get my green thumb working again. They are very beautiful my friend. You always have something that's about ready to harvest, or just harvested, and for that, I'm incredibly jealous. Keep up the great work.

Effing cat hair. I was just thinking how I can own black clothes now because I don't have a cat anymore, but you just made up my mind about getting another cat. Cat hair on my buds would be too much for me.

And what's up with you're government taking the option to grow at home out of the people's hands. What's going on in Canada there End? I haven't got the whole story yet. Looks like you may have to give your genetics away outside of Canada to keep em alive. Now I wonder who might help you there? ;)

I was trying to take a good picture to see if WW was ready, and the camera started working normally... somewhat.

Anyway I snapped a few more, it's hard to tell on the pics, it looks like I should let her go another week but I dont really feel like it. She has lots of cat hairs and or spider mites web on her, like I see a little something on each bud and it's bugging me!! It will take hours to trim her as I will be inspecting each buds very closely. I started rolling my clothes with a sticky roller before entering the grow room at all time now so it won't get as bad as it was on a few plants this current grow.

I think we can all agree that she is an amazing 12/12 from seed!!

The other plant I was hoping to harvest tonight also needs more days ... Medicine!!

Big Brother (in this case big pharma) has been hard at work to patent various aspects of mj's healing qualities. They must be closing in to shut down home care givers:evil:

You shouldnt get me going on this topic!! The most outrageous thing is that patients won't be allowed to grow their own meds that just blows my mind, instead they will mass produce with chemicals and also growing the shittiest weed, I am so pissed off.

@Franjan, I want to keep a decent little stash of seeds until I grow them out and see if I got something to work with. Come again next year.

@Campo, I got busy, yours will be on their way today, and I started to think I should remove all finger prints, ... then I thought I was too fkin parano so I ll just tape it and ship it today :eyesmoke:

@Beef, was hard to open the package? hehe

Update time, I will guide you through room1!!

Here we have the clone of WW, she was not big at all when I put her in the flower room, I would say that she was smaller or as small as her mother 12/12 fs. She is my baby atm I really dont want to fuck that one up. 2 weeks ago she looked like she was gonna get ugly but cal-mag truly save the day here. You can really see how low she is on the second pics.
IMG_6569.JPGIMG_6570.JPG

A reminder of what her mom looks like :eyesmoke:
IMG_6576.JPGIMG_6575.JPG
I have decided that she is coming down today, I am seeing a few amber and it will be ok for now, next WW will be gonig longer, that one has been flowering for about 70ish days...

3 Agent Chemo in a 10 gallons container (in case there are any new followers, agent chemo was my first cross, using a male agent orange (tga) on a chemo (jordan of the island))
IMG_6571.JPG

2 Agent Chemo in a 7 gallons container
IMG_6572.JPG

Here is a perfect example of me doing stupid things,... 3 plants that I had sexed that I was supposed to veg big... one night I changed my mind (I must have been drunk or something) and I transplanted all 3 in a 7 gallons container, so at the bottom is Oh God, upper left is Sweet Cindy and to the right is Smiler. It's going to be a nightmare because they are probably going to be on a different schedule. .. I really dont know what I was thinking here and I regretted putting them all in the same container as I was doing it ... DUH!! DO NOT PLANT DIFFERENT STRAINS IN THE SAME CONTAINER. I should remember now haha.
IMG_6573.JPG

Another beautiful Agent Chemo coming up, the last of them (I have more seeds though!!)
IMG_6574.JPG

Party!!

Happy Growing everyone :eyesmoke:

I have not heard of this!! Wtf? They making it so dispensaries are the only one's that can produce and supply? The WHOLE reason of growing is to fit your own personal needs.. wtf..

Yea you let me know if you decide to be ballsy and ship some to the US, will even trade; hell that SB x GG would be worth a personal drive up there in itself, only like 5-6 hours away from borders.. Lol So envious..

Keep it up 'Do.

I tried to pm you but it's full so here it is:

I said in the rep I was jealous of your job, I got you mixed up with foreverflyhi, I think he works in a legal medicinal garden. I do harvest often but often time it's very little at a time. It's a lot of work and a lot of fun, but as I said many times in my journal, the way I do it requires that I use too much soil and I want to stop doing that... eventually I would like to be at at about 20 gallons of soil per 600watts light... instead of 40-50... all I need to do is to start vegging my plants! Or do 12/12 fs with the right genetic. I am getting there.

Yeah my bad, inbox is now empty. Wish I could spend all my time in a garden! But I'm stuck in an office all day working on computers. Its a pretty legit company though so no complaints. Should be back in my garden in the next few weeks though so be on the lookout for a new journal from me!

I hope you can get the soil amount down to something less without sacrificing yields. I'm sure vegging will help. as always, can't wait to see what you do next.

I had the shitty camera I will take pics with the t3i when the nugs are dry!

@puff I think I will get similar yield with a lot less soil, however, same or bigger containers!! I think the secret to big buds is unlimited space for the roots. So I will grow bigger plants and I will implement a new technique I am experimenting with...

Did I say new technique!!?, I talked about it a while back when I had said I had an idea to spice up ''main-lining'' to something a little more LED friendly.... (to be continued)

I am going to call it ''spreading the main-lining" :eyesmoke: as simple as that!

Thanks to Nugbucket for bringing main-lining to my attention.

This plant was not mainlined (12/12 from seed), but it is a good example of what's coming next. She was growing so slowly, I ignored her for a while and recently I looked at her and she was a monster! So she has become very important in the garden and she is now getting prime lighting!!! (deep purple, tga)
IMG_6541-2.JPGIMG_6542-2.JPGIMG_6544.JPG
I wish I would have taken a picture before I spread her out. ( you gotta start slow too you dont want to crack the plant open in the center )

So what I will be doing is main-line my plants, then about 2 weeks into budding, I will take each leader and tie them to the container, so a 1 sq. ft. canopy can almost turn into 2, giving a lot more light to the center/lower buds.

Personally, I dont believe in defoliation, I really try to avoid that at all cost. THE PLANTS USE THEIR LEAVES TO TRANSFORM LIGHT INTO ENERGY, WHY CUTTING THEM?. lol.

I am not sure if it's true or not, but they say that LEDs dont penetrate as well. I dont think my 400w hps were any better to be honest. So I think the strategy, regardless of your lighting, is to use the full coverage of the light. Nobody wants to waste light on anything else than the plants. I bet that most of you can go in their grow room right now and improve the way their plants are receiving light - without defoliating. (I should go in my room now and do it some more :eyesmoke:)

If you have enough plants, you can place them next to each other like a puzzle and always have the ''bulk'' of your lights hitting 100% green matter. In other word, ideally you do not want any light directly hitting the floor.

So I hope it makes sense, that's what I will be working on over the next few months!

EDIT Ok now it's chop chop time :eyesmoke:

EDIT 2 This strategy might not work as well on pure indicas, but the hybrids or the sativas will fill the center no problem.

I found 8 seeds!! 3 went right into bubbly water :eyesmoke: Spacebomb x WW !! All the buds were amazing, it turned out, it was a little spidermites infestation, and luckily, only 1/3 of the plant was affected, and not too badly. It was time consuming to trim them dirty buds but everything looks absolutely stellar now.

Absolutely agree with you on defoliation/shhhhhhh dont tell Dawg;-)..........An even canopy is what all indoor growers regardless of plant should strive for due to a static light source. I'm anxious to see your training technique in action. Oh btw I got to thank you for the velcro/fabric pot LST system, gonna use it next round; Love it's simplicity.

Here's my take on whether to cut, or not...

If you run hydro, as I do, with 45-90 minute fed cycles during late flower, I do not find primary leaves necessary. Without them, I am getting more light to the otherwise shaded buds

I believe the plants can use the energy collected from the upper leaves on the lower buds.

Chop Chop!

You are looking at a 3D tga (that's what the tag says but it doesnt look or smell like the other in the room, so I might have fucked up!) She is another one of those that I am harvesting on the early side because I am scared of mold. I dont think I will ever grow a plant like this anymore, if I see they are going to grow one big bud, I will scratch them. It really is not a good yield for the amount of soil. Of course this plant would have been wicked with some veg time. She smells wonderful!!

IMG_6638-2.JPGIMG_6635.JPGIMG_6638.JPGIMG_6641.JPGIMG_6643.JPGIMG_6646.JPGIMG_6647.JPGIMG_6650.JPGIMG_6652.JPG

What else ... oh yeah, I thought I had 8 WW seeds, but I lost a few!! I have one trying to germinate that look like it will die and I have 3 more. The other 3 will go in my seed stash and I will try them again months from now. If I can get only one of them going at some point I would be stoked, spacebomb and WW are 2 very resinous strains!!!

I know what I had said about 12/12 fs, but things are going really fast and the plants I am vegging under the hss, well they are under the HSS  So I got a few more plants that I started 12/12 fs, 2 per containers. 2 spacebombs, 2 SB x violator kush, 2 SB x NYCD, 2 SB x GG, 1 VK and 1 GG, and 1 haoma and something else. The containers that have 2 different strains, if the 2 are female I will simply pull my least favorite (example, the VK and GG are both female, I will pull the VK :eyesmoke:)

Ok that's it for now, Happy Growing everyone :eyesmoke:

EDIT psuagro, I thought you had lost interest in Grinspoon, I certainly have!!! They are about 2 weeks ish from being done, but you know, it could be 6!! haha the hairs are starting to turn brown.

Try spraying with 3% H2O2. It will burn the little fuckers up, but not harm the plant

There is 100% no mold, I am just saying I am scared of it.

I want my buds to be 100% clean, I did the H2O2 on my outdoor plant, I smoked 1 bud, it smoked fine, but because I knew I had washed it with peroxide, I didnt want to smoke them, I made hash ... hash seemed ok but I forgot about it in a jar and it wasnt dry and went bad, it reeked. Anyway, thanks for the input but I am really trying to grow clean natural buds.

A few more Grinspoons ...
IMG_6675-2.JPGIMG_6659.JPGIMG_6658.JPG
I hope that it will either smell good, taste good, or get me really high ... The yield will be decent so as long as it doesnt sit in jars until it rots I will be happy.

Some more shots of 3D

Nuken x WW, isnt she gorgeous!!! The yield will be great, fantastic resin production and wonderful smell. This plant is the only one that made it (there 2 others that were male actually) out of a pack of 10, she was a total runt and now look at her go!!

damn, looking pretty pretty pretty pretty good. When you decide to harvest, are you using a loupe to examine the trichomes or do you make your decision another way? I have a loupe, and I'm trying to go for a more cerebral effect with my grow.
