feminized seeds

just thought i'd let you all know about fem seeds.
i just bought and planted 9 fem seeds and so far 7 have come up male i want to name the site on here but not sure if i can.
any advice would be appreciated,,just don't want other people to get ripped off.

so gutting,,,gotta start all over again now

How would you actually know if they were feminine or male if you just bought them and they just sprouted?

You can't. I used to run all my seedlings under 12/12 early, knowing the males would show first, then returning the ones that didn't show to 24/0 in about 10 days, but this wouldn't be 100%.
If you grew the seed, and it was from a hermie, then you can assume the vast majority are female (and carry the hermie genes) as any feminized seeds you bought should be.

they've been in flower for nearly 2 weeks now and the have the dreaded little banana at the top of the plant.

i gather that no one is worried about buying fem seeds and getting all males from this site i got mine from.
sent them 2 e-mails in the last week and they can't even be bothered to reply..
and they say their customers come back again and again.

if u paid by CC send them an email that u will be doing a chargeback. if that dont get their attention, do a chargeback. get ur money back if u can.

what seed bank is it? there people that would like to know before
they order.

they might have just sent you the wrong order. It would be very easy to read the order wrong and send you 10 regular non feminized seeds, id contact the company before you make any drastic comments about them. Cheers m8

The dreaded lil banana on top of the plant? How bout posting some pics of these 7 plants? I'm just not buying into this one so easily...sounds fishy.

been back and looked at them again tonight
the banana looks like a little thin thing that curls over slightly next to the leaf nodes,,looking closely at it it looks a bit like a small hook looking thing.
what is puzzling me is also i can see what looks like 2 small leaves(tiny),that seem to bend and cross each other.
if you bend your 2 index fingers like a half moon and then cross them at the top,,this is what it looks like,,strange.

i don't wanna name the site untill i know for sure they're male,cos i've never done feminized seeds before,,don't know whether that a make a difference.
tried to take photos with my phone but it didn't work.
i will let you all know how they turn out,,i might just be being paranoid.
i got 80 seeds so i pray they are fine.
