I mentioned in an earlier post that the plants seemed to droop and then respond by the leaves perking up to watering and feeding...or so I thought. I then noticed that the leaves still droop once per day...always towards the end of the day..whether the soil was bone dry or wet. So I did little reading and discovered it is something called "circadian rhythm".

This is no doubt old news for experienced growers..but for a newbie like myself i was starting to think I was doing something wrong.

Wow I was doing the same type of research when I was notified of an email stopped to check it and seen that you were checking up on the same thing as myself... Lol My Blue Mammoth was drooping a bit and I was thinking they were drying up but they were still wet.. I was thinking that I was messing them up as well... Lol

Gorilla Autoflowers one month from seed. The two on the outside are each 33" and seem to be still growing. The one in the middle was topped and is 29" - all three seem healthy...and very stinky.

Thanks Tx. I plugged in a couple of red LED's - they are causing the color effect. Everything is still very green.
K cool I found a website yesterday with cob leds for sale and they had promo going with some for free I'm hoping that they will send me a led light and I will be adding it to my grow room but I'm thinking of making a little grow box to grow a male and get some pollen for my next run.... I'm gonna try and get a grape stomper with stardawg male to put with a midnight fantasy f2 cross

Cool. I'll be interested in how it turns out.

5 1/2 weeks from seed. I was out of town for 4 days so my wife watered them while I was gone. I didn't ask her to add nutes as she...well...she doesn't have a green thumb and things could go badly. So they look a little yellowed, especially some of the lower leaves. Two of them are 34" and the topped one is about 3" shorter. The topped one has no yellow leaves at all. Smell is strong. Looking forward to watching them fatten up. Oct 24.jpg

6 weeks from seed. Some yellowing is happening. Mostly on the lower leaves but some on the upper leaves also. I haven't given a lot of nutes so far and I'm wondering if some deficiences are starting to occur.20171025_120016.jpg

There seems to be a lot of opinion that flushing is a waste of time. I dont know for certain as I'm not an expert but I thought I'd give it a shot as quite a few people do it who also grow great medicine. So I flushed each plant with 3 gallons of water. They seemed to respond well. As soon as they dry out I will feed them Bloom nutrients.Oct 27.jpg

Oct 28.jpg 2 1/2 days after flushing I gave 2 gallons of RO water with 60% GoBox Nutes mixed in. I watered until there was 1/2" of run off in the saucer. No doubt in my mind that flushing has merit despite all the opinions I have read against it.

7 weeks from seed. One week since flush. Two applications this week of gobox nutes at about 60% recommended amount. Lots of crystals starting to appear. Some leaves seem to be turning purple also.

7 1/2 weeks from seed. Buds are fattening but leaves are yellowing considerably. I'm guessing I have about 2 more weeks.Nov 5.jpg Nov 5 2.jpg

8 weeks from seed. Roughly 2 more to go. Buds are fattening but lots of leaves are showing signs of decifiency. I might start grow nutes at beginning of stretch next time. Very complex smell also...I'd describe it as a mix of lemons and skunk. Luckily the carbon filter is hooked up and doing its thing.20171108_205415.jpg

I'm almost 3 weeks into 12/12 and I'm still tapering off veg and into bloom nutes. 2tsp bloom 1 tsp veg, next week will be .5tsp more to bloom and .5tsp less to veg

That makes a lot of sense. I am learning that the stretch eats up a lot of what the leaves are storing. I think I'll continue grow nutes until end of stretch next time and taper off like you mentioned.
