Gorilla Glue AF

Sept 8 - I am using Lowes Foods gallon jugs of their store brand spring water. PH test shows it to be slightly alkaline so I dropped it to around 6.5
Sept 10 – seeds have been in water for about 18 hrs. They are starting to crack so I put them in a wet paper towel and folded it in half. Growing medium will be FF Ocean Forest – nutes will be gobox starting with ¼ measure. I am using a Timber Lights Vero Model 4VS 400 Watt COB. I also have a pair of Platinum P300's but I doubt I will need them for this for this grow.
Sept 10 - seeds were in paper towel for about 12 hrs when I noticed the tap root starting to sprout. I put all three seeds directly in the 3 gallon pots that they will be in for the duration – apparently AF's don't like to be transplanted so I am looking to minimize any shock.
Sept 12 – I noticed this morning that the stem is starting to push the cracked seed above the soil line. They are in a humid dark environment – once I see some green the lights will go on at a dim setting
Sept 14 – all three seeds sprouted about 2 1/2” and all 3 have shed their husks. They all germinated identically. So far I am only using ph'd filtered RO water from Lowes Foods and FF Ocean Forest Soil.

Sept 19 – everything seems to be going well. I put the Platinum P300 with blue light only on. The seedlings seem to be reacting well. The light is 20” away. When they mature a little I will put them under the COB

Sept 21 – The seedlings seem to be responding well to the blue light. No nutes yet and I probably won't give them any for a while. Its been one week since the seeds cracked the soil line.

Sept 24 – 11 days since the seeds sprouted above the soil line. 2 of the 3 are thriving but something strange is going on with the 3rd. It seems to be growing 2 stems. A main one and a short one. The main one seems to be at a stand still with the first set of leaves starting to droop. I'm not sure what the problem is.

Well I woke up this morning and all my girls are drooping like crazy I'm guessing underwatering cuz I have new soil mix and fabric pots so they must be drying out to fast

Possibly over watering. I had the same problem for a few days. The consenus seems to be that autos dont like to be transplanted, so putting the sprouted seed in a 3 gallon pot seems logical...except the roots seem to have a hard time getting oxygen if the soil is too wet.

Well mine seems to be drying to quickly like the amount of perlite and fabric pots is a good combo for drying them out I think I need to keep an eye on them to see what happens... Hopefully it's underwatering and not overwatering

Hey just wanted to pop in and give a few suggestions ....first you don't have to mess with the PH of your water when using FFOF soil...it buffers itself so no point ....and second, I've been using that soil for many many years ....next time you use it be sure to add lots of perlite to it ....it's not as airy/fluffy as MJ plants like IMO ......GL

Thanks for the advice..I really appreciate it. This is my 5th grow and my 1rst time growing autos..so I'm still a newbie really. I'll probably add 2 more plants as I have tons of light and space. I'm looking at RQS Northern Lights autos...as well as Dinafem Sour Diesel.
