Epidemic of Overly Stoned Old People in America

Normally I ignore you. You are on to something with this though. My grandma is addicted to pain meds, she has 5 different doctors handing her pain pills. She is like Dr.House, she eats them like they are TicTacs and if you try and take them she throws fits until someone caves.(usually my grandpa) We have talked to the doctors about and they all give basically the same answer "She is old and has lived a long life, just let her be comfortable in her way". What kind of bullshit is that?
If she was in a legal state I would be happy to let her try a cannabis alternative, however my family still thinks Reagan was right about "dope". They would rather her be on pills than have anything cannabis related

Sorry, I agree with the doctor and wish I could find one like that.
Doesn't matter what dr shaggy says, I smoke a lot of weed and have a lot of pain, the weed doesn't treat pain like a synthetic opiate would, addiction or not if granny was still alive I'd approve of making her last years easier more enjoyable and pain free.
Weed just doesn't do much for pain.

The thing is, my grandma has no pain and admits that to us and lies to her doctors. She likes the high she gets from the pills and doesn't want to come down.

I used edibles that I made to stop taking taking oxys. I know it's possible but it sucks coming off pills. I have an ex-wife because of pills.

America is in the middle of possibly what could be the worst geriatric crisis in it's entire history.

We used to have regular old people. Ones that cared about the country, and wanted to see their grandkids be better than them. But now they are all on Heroine supplements and Xanax.

Our Pharmaceutical companies are pushing hard drugs to our grandparents, when they DON'T REALLY NEED THEM.

If you have a grandparent or a greatgrandparent that uses Oxycontin or Xanax, let them have a brownie or a few hits off a joint and ask them if they like it more than their meds.

No one needs to be fucked up on Oxycontin, and I PROMISE it is probably crazy addictive and bad for you when you do it a lot. I was a stupid kid and I used to buy it from people. Which is ANOTHER PROBLEM. These old people have so many hard core drugs, it is spilling in to our schools. Remember when people were doing "Cheese", that was just Tylenol PM mixed with Heroine. Kids were getting BOTH. 1 Because their grandparents had it in the cabinet, the other one because it's not even behind the counter, it's just on the street.

So anyways, my point is, get your grandparents high. Don't try to force them off their meds, these things are addictive, so they may be hooked. But it is possible that they could use Marijuana to go entire days, weeks or months without drugs and just use the hard stuff when they really need it.
I like the way you PROMISED that it's PROBABLY crazy addictive and bad you if you use it alot..

A landrace refers to a local variety of cannabis that has adapted to the environment of its geographic location. This accounts for genetic variation between landrace strains, which have been crossbred to produce the cannabis variety we see today. Landrace strains are oftentimes named after their native region (e.g., Afghani, Thai,Hawaiian), and traces of these forefather strains are sometimes detectable in the names of their crossbred descendants. A combination of environmental conditions and selective breeding by native populations gave rise to these stable varieties, the forefathers of all modern strains. Until its prohibition, cannabis remained a cultural cornerstone in these areas of the world.

Today’s cannabis market, driven by our widespread obsession with variety, rarely sees these pure landrace strains. Hybridization leaves us with very few original genetics, and indoor growing often subjects the plants to conditions that change the development of its natural compounds.

Back in the early 70's I had an uncle that weaned himself off alcohol by smoking weed he grew from seeds my brother in law gave him. I am a grandparent and I prefer cannabis to ease my many aches and pains. As far as landraces in the U.S......Huh? We only have a history of Hemp and a form of wild hemp that is kind of like ruderalis. That's it! Anything else has been introduced in recent (past 40-50) years.

Fin teaching anyone about cannabis is the same as a priest teaching little boys about sex. It doesn't make sense.
Lol, I used to have over 350,000 views on Youtube and ALL I did back then was show people things involving growing and smoking.

People here on this website always hated, but on Youtube (If I still had that account it would probably be near a million or over by now), there were people from states where they had never seen anyone grow before, and they needed to see someone do it the cheap way so they could try it with bag seed.

Yeah, hopefully the next generation can grow their own meds.
