Enough light stress to cause Hermie issues?

Well, since you find the place to be reputable, maybe it was an honest mistake, on their part? It's possible that they just happened to be taking clones from a plant that wasn't necessarily a full hermie, but borderline.(sorta like yours is) If the plants was never put into bloom, they wouldn't know it was a hermie, because the plants that produce those little banana things don't always produce the tell-tale little 'balls' while vegging. Then, when you ended up with a hermie, they likely denied fault, out of embarassment, or an attempt to keep their reputation in good standing.

What kind of fluctuation are we talking about here? Like I said this is a new issue on the part of the clones. I am in CoCo, so I keep my pH a little low.

However it has dropped from about 5.9 to about 5.6 in some buckets (raising it back up today to about 6.0)

I mean, I hear of pH raising and lowering on people all the time..and have never heard that to be blamed as the cause of hermie problems.

Would this pH stress be enough you think?
What style of grow method are you useing? I am guessing maybe hempy? If so, do not chase your ph from hour to hour. Just keep it in the zone. 5.5 to 6.5 without any major changes. No more than .5 at a time. .3 is best. Sweat less, its a weed.

Sex is usually shown above or at the 4th node from what I know. So that's normal. Stress of any kind can cause a plant to hermie, heat included.

Got any pics?

1 -2 -3 hours of disrupted lite time will not hermie a plant These finatic people who talk about light leaks???I heard some idiot put black tape over his light on the power strip inside the G room WTF????? What happens to plants outside when the full moon comes on strong for 3 nights in a row??? Oh yea every fucking plant in north america planted out doors thats exposed to the full moom light will now hermie. God forbid if lighting would strike on a dark night. That would throw all those plants to the other side..Damn those light hermie Leaks.

Yeah, turns out it was probably my bad trying to lower the pH too fast. Lesson learned. However putting tape over the light on your strip might not be such a bad idea. Most give off a red light, and if something like that were in my tent it could cause issues.

I have a light meter and I have tested moonlight. It hardly even registers at all even on a clear night with a full moon. Anything stronger than moonlight is enough to wake up your girls. Hell, I seen plants that flowered on one side and not the other because some light was hitting them at night (back yard lighting). That's different though.

I have to say I agree with bunk clones---I have read in one book "the good book" as I reefer to it--- Medical Growers bible. The genetics of a plant is determined by the time the 3rd leaf is developed not the seed(S) round ones--- regular leafs. Yes, Ph can be a determining factor of sex as well as length and color of day you make it but that is a seedling before sex is set. But an hour of oopsy daisy is not an issue here. I shut mine in total darkness for 36 hours before flowering and guess what?--- Got flowers. Female flowers. Nonsense about shock, your clones are equal to a 4 month old plant. Hence the right to flowering a few days after recieving her. Changes 3 days in a row messes with the cycle.
If you live in Socal check Dakini collective for nice service and clones.

LMAO, I am surprised this thread is still going to be honest. Hey that's cool though. The plants in question have been lopped down a couple weeks ago. The hermie issue was so mild on them I plucked pollen sacs off of them the one time...and they never grew back. Like I said, I think it was me trying to lower the pH too hard/fast in my medium.
