Hi,

Would 1 of these LED panels be enough for 6 seedlings (1-2 week duration of use)? I've seen a ton on ebay for like $40.00:

Specification:
Body material: Thermoplastic
Circuitry board material: Die-cast Chrome
60 Blue light LEDs: 465nm (nanometer) wave length
165 Red light LEDs: 650nm (nanometer) wave length
165 + 60 = Total 225 LEDs
Color: Red + Blue = Purple looking to the eyes
Working Voltage: 110V-220V
Power: 13.8 Watts
Dimensions: 12’’ inches (30.5cm) square
Thickness: Low profile 1.25"
The Color of the LED lights can be changed as to your order.

I think it would work, but I don't see why someone would waist 40$ on something that will only do an OK job. Spend 10$ and get some CFL.

Throw this piece of junk away. 5mm LED arrays are darn near useless for growing and will perform worse than CFL watt for watt. I speak from experience.

man....i wish i could have stopped you. I wanted to use leds for a long time and called around to the different companies. The ebay leds....sorry...are worthless. There are companies(hid hut superled sunshine-systems)....and these guys really have a great product/product. I have used 2 of 3 of these companies. PJ at superled....is awesome and Justin at hid will also help you. Larry at Sunshine-Systems is as smart as they come. Call around and spend your money correctly. These are a great way to grow....and i personally love mine. I saved and its been worht it. NO headaches!!!!!!! Hope this helps....peace......igwleds
