It makes 1725 watts or 1.7KWH period with all 8 panels combined. Just look at the link LT1RX7 posted.

The fed will give you a tax credit of 15% of the cost of the system, the State you are in may also give you a tax credit. The state I live in gives another 15% credit, so basically the gubbermint will pay for 30% of my solar investment.

1725 watts is not bad for $10,000 especially when you consider 30% of it will be a tax write off, so figure 7K. Avg power cost is 12 cents per KWH so lets say its producing peak power for 10 hours a day so 1.725 x $.12 x 10 = $2.07 every day so it produces about $60 worth of power each month of sunshine. Lets just say its going to take about 10 years for it to pay for itself. Solar panels last at least 20 years so its not a bad investment, too bad the cost hasn't come down more.

Of course under the Cap and Trade system it would only take 3 or 4 years to pay for itself as your electricity rates would likely triple very quickly under that bill.
im actually paying way less then .12 a kw
im paying .031/kw
its making more then $60 worth of power i get a check back monthly for anywere from 35-60 depending how much welding and shit goes on out in the shop

dude i told you i didnt put up correct specs asshat look at the bottom of post 216w x 8 make 1728w/hr how hard is the math you are dumb, you should not smoke weed for fear of being really dumb, beside why is the thread turning in to pick my post apart to be e-thug assclown, it about other methods of making power for growing what hate on me cause my power is free and you pay out the ass for yours, grow the fuck up dude

How to get away with using 30,000 wats of electricity?

you could buy 30 x 1000 watt rechargeable generators, the kind that you plug into a wall outlet

charge two generators at your friends house and pay the electricity cost. Have 15 of your friends each charge 2 generators for you, then you will have 30,000 watts of electricity.

There is no way you are going to hide 30,000 watts of electricity. That is a good size house using its electricity @ full tilt all the time and will draw attention. Maybe you could get enough solar panels to offset a little portion of the power but you'll get curious neighbors and people driving by coming over to talk shop about your solar setup. Some large diesel generators can get you that power however your going to need to deal with all the noise and heat that would come along.

Is 30 000 W a little big of a jump from what you're used to maybe? What's the most wattage that you have experience using? I'm just saying that at least most of the time someone that could pull off a grow that size would probably already have some experience with some bigger grows and have an idea of how to put it together.

Well I would use an electrician. I don't know anything about electricity expect it costs money and they can catch you for it if you don't do it properly. I don't even think all houses have that much electricity. I am going to have to call the electric company and tell them to put in a new box on the street for larger usage. I think unless i draw police suspicion some other way my power bill wont fuck me, but I'm not sure, thats why I'm asking.

good idea about the charged genies, but that would be a hell of a work.

Maybe if a find a large property with a lot of garden lights, and a pool, and tennis court lights.

Thanks for the opinions.

p.s. LT1RX7 Drifter your an idiot.

solar might i heard that if you run a powerline parellel between the ones on the telephone post and to your room i heard it takes the charge of other lines they cant touch thou they say its legal cause supreme court ruled that if power companies cant keep power containd to their lines its no crime to use the wasted energy. not sure how tru it is just a thought thou

im a idiot cause you think you need a shit load of 1000w lights to grow with, yah that makes me a idiot

if you think power usage that big won't fuck you you're crazy. Even if you have a bigass house that could approach that level of usage, guess what? You still have to power the damn house so you're going to be adding 30000 watts onto a shitload from normal usage. Just an all around stupid ass question

Most homes only have 200 amp service, many have only 100 amp service, thats 24,000 watts maximum. You would need to go with commercial grade power, not sure if you could have that in a home. Might wanna check your local laws.
