Easiest Tek for Quantities of Mushrooms

That size jar should be full by the time 17 days is up though, no?

I dont know, Ive heard it can take anywhere from 20-40 days to colonize. I figure im not doing to bad, I have another half pint jar (wide mouth this time) and its only a week old, its almost as far along as this one.

well firstly i would do a small grow and isolate the best of the shrooms, clone them onto agar or a LC. make up some jars using whatever grain you fancy (i use millet but anything works.)then pasteurize some manure and staw ( i use 50/50 but any ratios work) spawn the jars onto the staw shit mix and leave to colonize. you can do this in plastic tubs, buckets, bags etc.. once fully colonized case the substrate with a 1/4-1/2 inch of verm., peat moss, coir etc...... then either fan and spray them a few times a day or hook up a humidifier. supply light ,fresh air and +90% r.h and your shrooms should start appearing in a week or so and be ready to harvest 3-6 days later. if done properly half a pillow case of substrate can yield +6 oz of dry shrooms.

1 you will never grow 1000's of pounds with cakes, gotta go bulk, but have you ever grown a single mushroom? I'm guessing not cuz only a noob would come onto a public forum and ask how to become the Tony Montana of Shrooms.

We probably shouldnt condone commercial drug factories on this site...thats shady and could draw even more attention to this ever increasingly popular hobby by the law. just my .02 cents

Now that you've read my original post, and you've re-read your hastily typed and uninformative reply, this isnt a thread about making a mega drug factory. (didnt you see the "I know, but come on, indulge me!" part?). While you are here being Debbie Fucking Downer, some of us like to think of building a dream grow room for any type of substances. Hell, meth too, why not. Not only this, but you have no idea if mushroom cultivation is legal where any single person here. Your the type of shut-someone-down asshole that would post in the 12,000 watt grow room threads with jargon like "OMG YER GUNNA GET KAWT LOLZ". Do us all a favor, quit being a troll and start contributing. Realize that every subject of a thread can be fun in nature instead of always being CAPTAIN ASSHOLE.

Let the discussion that was already fun and beneficial continue..............

1 No, I wouldnt post in the 12,000 whatever room, i dont grow weed
2 ehhhh fuck it, my bad lol...I was just lookin out for everyone, didnt mean to sart some shit. It just seems like alot of noobs come on here and ask how to grow a ton a shrooms or make LSD or whatever, I guess i had a big head for a moment errr sum shit.

5 and even tho i was an asshole i did still contribute by saying you would be better off with bulk. you would need a small army to maintain enough cakes to grow on the level you seek.

Ehhh, no back on topic to mushroom grow room design and methodology. If you want to make an Ecstasy lab start your own thread. All you do is post about DMX, 2cb, how you used to grow and miss it, blah blah. Please just abandon this thread if you wont make it useful information instead of just more bullshit people have to scroll past. I like to keep it clean in here. No reply necessary, just move on.

I gotta agree with skye about the PF Cakes being a waste of time for anything other than a personal grow. I'm doing a Dozen run of PF cakes right now, and even in the optimal, damn near perfect conditions that I have them fruiting in, they are averaging about 6-7g's dry a cake per flush. Which is pretty pathetic when compared to bulk growing. Alot less hassle involved as well, as you are not having to constantly mess with cakes, dunking/rolling etc. Bulk is definitely the way to go.
