That's what I use them for mostly. I can have a few hits of nicotine to snap my brain back into attention when sitting in a lecture that is drowning me in info overload, or when working in a lab trying to keep myself from getting hypnotized due to monotony (i.e. doing the same measurement over and over and over and ...). I suppose everyone has a different reason/reaction, just like "analogs"

I use the food grade glycerin they brew it up at the smoke shop. It doesnt make me cough at all. I guess people have been getting some premade stuff from china that has a bunch of crap in it. That could explain things. china makes baby toys with lead in them I wouldnt put it past them to add some extra chems.

YES! There are known cases of Chinese juice having PPG (i.e. Anti-freeze) in them. And the result? ALL E-cigs have PPG (typical scare story from MSM). That's why I only buy my hardware from there, now. Although, I believe I found a decent retailer in China (healthcabin) who supposedly had their PG sources tested. But if it's not done regularly, how can one be sure? One can't... in the end, it's still a crap-shoot. Fortunately, there are now local suppliers (in BC), so I don't need to be as concerned. Health Canada keeps a tight eye on the industry here, simply because it is still new (even though I've been using E-cigs for ~4 years now).

anifreeze your shitting me? Good for cars not so good for people.
Not a joke. To keep it in perspective, that "news" goes back a few years. I'm fairly certain the Chinese are just as responsive to dollar flows as any other culture with business savvy. I haven't looked carefully at the broader range of suppliers, but I imagine they have cleaned up their acts. It's just too bad they start with corner cutting and wait for problems to arise before they try to fix anything. That's the price we pay as consumers...imagine if it was a "free-market"
